Rivera has been over worked in this series thus far. CC on 3 days rest? Halos tie up the Series. I was on them today and will be on them again Tuesday now I'm getting plus money!! Halos!!

This game is more important to the Yankees. They should PISSED. Sabathia will pitch a gem. Now that he has done his job thus far in the postseason, he now has to prove he can be a stopper. Sabathia also enjoys the West Coast. He has a 2.32 ERA in his last 2 seasons.

I doubt Rivera will be at his best tomorrow if they need to use him, and Fuentes only threw 12 or 13 pitches, so he should be good for the Angels. CC Sabathia's only start at Angel stadium, he lost with a 6.75 ERA. Add that with the Angels having momentum and getting plus money at home.

Also I highly disagree with saying that this game is more important to the Yankees, this is the season for the Angels, if they win this then they're back in the series with all the momentum and if they lose, then they're done.

Rivera is always at his best. Fuentes also threw 3 pitches to blow Game 2. And yes...CC was bad against the Angels earlier this season but thats 1 start. And it just goes to show what those starts mean after his first start. And whats that old saying? Your only as good as the next days starter? Well CC is better than Kazmir, even on short rest where he is probably even better. I'm not trying to be a dick, don't get me wrong, it's just how I feel about the game.

You know that anything other than a World Series win is a failure for the Yankees. They MUST rap up this game and go 3-1. In their minds, you have got to believe if they tie this series back up they start thinking "Oh no...not again". It's time to finish the Angels off once and for all. They take game 4 and 5 before they even get back to New York...I'm telling you man.

I don't think I am going to put a wager on this game.  There are too many questions.  How will the Yankees respond after their 1st loss in the playoffs this year, depleted bullpen, how will CC pitch on 3 days rest?

I refuse to put money down just for action so to speak.  But like I said earlier, I love home dogs in the playoffs...

It's about winning money, but too many variables for me..

    We'll see

Doesn't make sense to put LAA at plus money regardless of pitching after yesterdays game. Angels play like a team, yankees play for their solo home runs.

Which CC shows up, now granted he isn't facing the Phillies lineup so that point is moot...

"Sabathia was outstanding on his short-rest run to close out last season, going 2-1 with a 0.83 ERA.

But his postseason outing against the Phillies in the National League Division Series was a disaster. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, giving up six hits, five earned runs, and four walks."

On the other hand, this is also mind boggling...

Sabathia, has been outstanding in these playoffs. He’s 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA over 14 2/3 innings. In two starts, he has 15 strikeouts to just one walk and has held opposing hitters to a .218 average.

Girardi said today that CC can go 115 pitches if he's on. And this guy hasn't pitched on 3 days rest all season. He is built to pitch like this.

Plus don't forget about the extra rest they game him when they had the division wrapped up as well!

And the extra rest between Game 1 of the ALDS to Game 1 of the ALCS. It all evens out damnit.

    Yankees Win 5-2

That was WAAAAAAAY back on July 12.  What has he done since then?  11 wins 2 losses and 2 no decisions.

Oh yeah, he is also 2-0 in the playoffs this year...

If I recall Roy Halladay lost 2 straight games against the Yankees. Then he beat them in his next 2 starts. If your making a "big" play on just 1 start...you are not playing your cards right.

2 starts ago in Anaheim he pitched a complete game giving up 5 hits and 1 run. Maybe it's an alternate thing. Good, Bad, Good. You know what he's up to now?
