I was thinking Red Sox earlier today because Garrett Crochet is such a beast on the road following a Red Sox loss, but Devers is gone, the Sox have dropped three straight, and today’s lineup is weak. Anyone know who Eaton is in the #9 slot?

I’n on the Angels for the second straight night and for the third time in their last four games. I’n on them +150 and I have them parlayed to the pathetic Rockies +1.5 +165.

I added to my Angels risk when +154 became available.

Hey, how about Rockies 1st baseman Michael Toglia. A pair of RBI hits to give his team a 2-0 lead and then he negates that and then some with three horrible defensive miscues in one inning. He was charged with two errors but it clearly should have been three. 

Ah, the magic of Rockies baseball.

Michael Toglia is now improbably 3-3 after his line drive bounced on the chalk and was ultimately correctly ruled a double. Rockies are still buried, though.

8-pitch bottom of the 6th for the Dodgers' Justin Wrobleski.

The completely useless Ryan McMahon looks at strike three to end the bottom of the 7th and leaves teammates stranded at 2nd and 3rd. Was anyone surprised?

No, no one was.

This evening’s weak Red Sox lineup is 2-19, but so far that is good enough.

The top four hitters in the Rockies lineup are 9-17 tonight, but I need Jordan Beck to make it 10-18, preferably with more than just a single.

Holy cow, the Rockies have come back from down 5 runs. Will the Dodgers offense wake up in the 9th to salt this one away?

Yeah, probably.

I need Juan Mejia to hold down this Dodgers offense that fell fast asleep following the Ohtani home run several innings ago.

He couldn’t do it. Shocker. I’m so shocked.

The Rockies HAVE to send up a pinch-hitter for the completely useless Ryan McMahon in the bottom of the 9th.

McMahon legged out an infield single, but no matter. Next pitch, game ending double play.

OMG, the completely green Christian Moore just went deep and Garrett Crochet can only stoically stare from the dugout with tears forming in his eyes.

Man on 2nd with nobody out and this Red Sox offense can’t do nothin’. That baserunner was only aboard because of an error.

The Red Sox are 3-30 tonight. Not too shabby!

Mike Trout is up to bat against Aroldis Chapman.

Trout with an “excuse me” half swing and he earns himself an infield single.

Taylor Ward down on three pitches. 

Logan O’Hoppe fared no better. Two outs.

Jo Adell draws a walk and Scott Kingery is sent up to hit for d’Arnaud. Problem is, Kingery can’t hit either.
