In this new best of 3 teams to win 1st game are 13-0. But 11 of those were sweeps.
There was 8 3 game series in the Covid year that the first team winner of game 1 went 6 -2 but in those the 2 games that were not sweeps were won by the team who lost the first game.
Not sure if the trend since 2022 means something and the Covid year was different or its all coincidence. As f now I wouldn't rely on it meaning anything

Anything that happened in sports in 2020 after the middle of March should be ignored by sports bettors. MLB was 100% phony that year, a 60-game schedule played in front of no fans and then a fake playoffs.

@smellybunty So just want to be clear about this stat then today's plays are tigers, cubs, and red sox, correct?
Honestly I wouldn't bet solely on this. Its interesting though. But considering most were sweeps I wouldn't bet it on this blindly. Just info. Maybe if Cubs, Red Sox and Tigers win today it may be something. If you want to bet based on the trend its up to you. Today I may play nothing. Research for regular season baseball is huge but for me in the playoffs its mostly feeling and I don't have it for any of these games.
