Roki Sasaki, the prized Japanese pitching prospect who has had scouts drooling over his potential since high school, has chosen the Los Angeles Dodgers as his major league team, he announced on Instagram on Friday. And the rich get richer!
Because he is under 25 years old and spent less than six seasons in Nippon Professional Baseball, Sasaki essentially will sign a minor league contract and follow the path of a player selected in the amateur draft -- able to be optioned to the minors, scheduled to earn close to the major league minimum during his first three major league seasons and unable to become a traditional free agent until attaining six years of service time

What are your thoughts on twins this season? I have division championship/over 83.5 wins. I think they comeback with a vengeance this season. What are your thoughts about this?

@Moose6836
Big bats of Correa and Buxton missed quite a bit of time, so if they can stay healthy,
On paper at least it appears CLEVELAND will have the edge again to win the div, though injuries come into play on any team and that can make it all a friggin crapshoot, don't you think?

The Los Angeles Dodgers have added left-hander Tanner Scott, arguably the best relief pitcher on the free agent market, agreeing to terms on a four-year, $72 million contract, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan on Sunday.

I don’t doubt it judging by the lineup, but often these roster changes can backfire.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- More than two months after signing the richest contract in professional sports history, Juan Soto reported to work Sunday for the first time as a member of the New York Mets not yet having fully digested the life-changing, $765 million commitment.
I don't wish the man bad luck....not at all.....But if he gets injured then what? May end up being similar to Aaron Rodgers...

Aaron Judge, who turns 33 on April 26, won his second AL MVP award in three years after leading the major leagues last season with 58 homers, 144 RBIs and 133 walks.
He hit .322 as the Yankees reached the World Series for the first time since 2009

Considering their patch work pitching staff barely held it together all season and a lousy bottom of the order and they STILL won it all, I'm looking to make some money on them again this upcoming season.

Indeed! I am really looking forward to it, whatwith Ohtani taking to the mound and that new import pitcher!
Also curious to see how the Orioles fare this season. They surprised me last year!
