good to see you around SHO,   BoL rest of the season..  i do think this site gets worse each month with the bashing and useless threads but you cabnn also find alot of useful info on here as well....

As usual you are right on point on bashing. Unfortunately, there are people who are miserable in their own lives and feel they must try to bring part of that misery to everyone they encounter. In an industry where 94% of people lose, you are going to have a lot more unhappy people than happy people.

We also have to remember that gambling is addictive and like with any addiction it can ruin the lives of those who abuse it. When you are going down the tubes it will cause you to react in a manner that is not positive

As far as the prevailing attitude against people like UNC and Indian Cowboy, AJ Pierzynski, Helmut...etc because they left here to become pay for play cappers. I just don't get the hate towards these guys either. They made people money while they were here. Money that if they weren't here wouldn't have been made. The only thing they did was use these forums to hone their skills and build a following which they hopefully parlayed into a career. You have to prove yourself somewhere.

The attitude that all of a sudden these same people who had huge followings, all of a sudden are bad people is just crazy. All they did was decide to use their skills in a manner that allows them to be paid for their work..which of course most of us call a job.

Covers was founded as a means to sell the product of the handicappers that sell picks. The only resaon any of these forums, the contests, etc are here is to generate business and drive traffic to the covers experts that are at the top of the home page when you log in. There is a reason for there being an experts button at the top of every page. The revenue generated by advertising and the experts pays for this site. If no one bought the experts then this site would shut down within 6 months.  

If the thought of "touting" so repulses the masses on here, then they should boycott this place becuase Covers is all about generating business for the "touts". Of course that isn't going to happen so I guess we know what that makes all those who bash these people who want to be pay for play guys.

sorry for the long diatribe. Keep picking those winners.
