Who cares if you think it is a sport or not...
If you love WWE, good for you. If you love UFC, good for you. No one is forcing you to watch either show.
This is a sports site geared to gamblers. If you can place a wager on it, then it is a sport. You can bet on UFC. You cannot bet on the WWE!

I've never posted on covers, only on sherdog before, but as a fighter and a fan of MMA I had to sign up just to say that you are an f'n TOOL man. I know you're posting just to get a rise out of everyone, but if you think that any boxer would stand a chance with an mma guy in the same weight class, you're not only a tool, but you're ignorant. It wouldn't even be a fight. Quit posting for the shock value and try to speak intelligently on something man. PS...Danzig is the best bet on the card IMO...should be more like -200. VALUE.

Ok after reading this entire thread i think i need to put in my 2 cents. First off I agree with BigJohn in the fact that WWE and UFC are coming very close to being the same. I do not believe that they are the same in the way he is referring such as the matches being fixed in WWE and they are not fixed in UFC. But you have to agree that all sports have had a game that has been fixed, where as wrestling is always fixed/scripted, but this doesnt mean the injuries in WWE are not real. Furthermore, you can also not say that any UFC/MMA fighter would destroy a professional boxer in the boxing ring. If this was true then they would not be in the UFC they would be boxing bc there is much more money to be made in the sport as a contender. And yes I do believe almost all WWE wrestlers would lose to UFC/MMA fighters in the octagon, bc they are trained in it, where in WWE they are trained to be ACTORS!!!! Lastly, you guys do understand that BigJohn is just posting here to pass the time and make a joke, he is probably sitting with his friends laughing at the fact that so many people have replied to his outrageous posts. All in all though this was a funny thread, and I laughed the entire time reading it. Just remember "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one."

Are u kidding me? WWE is a show (a fake pre-determined), pure entertainment and not a sport and shouldnt even be compared to UFC/MMA.
Using your analogy, boxing shouldnt be considered a sport either as it is "just two guys beating each other up". There are strategies involved in each UFC/MMA match, just like a boxing match and is just as much a sport as boxing is

Sorry I've been away for a while. Greetings to all. I know I have been telling you this for a long time now but I turned out to be right. Lesnar turned the ufc into the WWE in just one night. The Big Man throwin up the double bird to all in attendance. Man, that was fantastic. And, he's gonna be around for a while seeing that nobody will be able to defeat him as he keeps improving fight to fight. Bring on Fedor! Brock will manhandle him too. Long live the WWE!!
