with that said, i suggest anyone who talks shit about ufc should take their best boxing skills and wwe moves and take it to the ring and see what it is really like as a fighter and not a spectator- i guarantee they will be screaming and tapping at the same time while they're in a submission......

ufc changed. They added too many rules. Also please don't compare boxing to MMA THEY'RE not the same. A boxer will most likely beat a MMA fighter in a stand up fight, and a MMA fighter will most likely beat boxers on the ground.

Well this is only the 2nd UFC fight I've ever seen just because I don't find it entertaining. The 1st was because I wanted to see Kimbo Slice face Ken Shamrock and that turned out to be a fluke just waiting for a rematch that they can put on PPV. And now this one just because I used to love Brock Lesnar in the WWE because he was a beast and prooved that tonight. I have to agree with BiggJohn.

I think maybe you should get into the ring with a mma/ufc fighter before you make your judgement. You probably are just kidding and trying to cause a stirr, but you have no idea how multi-talented those guys are. Ji jitsu murders wrestling, let alone ground and pound techniques, submissions, and stand up. I bet an average ufc fighter would destroy the top boxers in the world. All they would have to do is defend, get a take down and the fights over....

i know this is an old thread but just gotta say that yep the ufc is a joke in my opinion, and in the opinion of a lot of mma fighters. there are lots of other "leagues" if you will that are a much more accurate representation of "ultimate fighting." they just cant show much of it on tv. the ufc is evolving into another wwe in my opinion also, look at dana white, hes a celebrity, just like vince mcmahon, no different, especially when he shows up on the show ultimate fighter and "makes decisions"... please. there are great fighters in the ufc, but there are more great fighters not in the ufc because they are not held back by big john (the ufc ref, who is also a celebrity) because the ufc is so structured. i just think its funny when all these nerds think its so extreme. it used to be, believe me it used to be pretty crazy (and real) but now its like a circus...
