Okay, hit me with your best shot about his last race--but he's won a race at CD, he's a beaten favorite and he's got a decent post-unlike some of the others so he should get first run at some suspect speed.  If the deep closers get tangled up, well that Giant's Causeway breeding could kick in and he might hold them off.  At 30-1, I think he's worth a shot.

He is appealing to me but he looks a bit on the smaller side. Ran a big time race off the bench and had no room in the last race. Just hard to gauge how much he can improve in this race. I guess he has a shot

i would toss his last race. he has a graded win at CD which is a big plus, the one knock i have against him is Bridgmohan i dont like him too much. GL

I agree, but you are not getting 30-1 with that form.  Maybe 20 if you're lucky.

I'm with you on santiva, never got a chance to run in his last race, and he showed incredible heart in the risen star. If not the winner then definetely a nice place/show payoff candidate.

Which is why if you use a sportsbook for your horse betting action (I use sportsbook.com) you might want to do what I did and go to the Derby props Odds to Win and lock in that 30-1 price.

Santiva will have to run his best race but he runs the perfect style to surprise here.

Right around the blue grass stakes Allhorseracing.com had Santiva at +6500, locked it up!

He had one of the worst trips I have ever seen in the Bluegrass
