I hope you're not going to get your pot from Mexico because if you do you will be contributing to the deaths of people there that goes on day after day. I believe since 06 close to 30,000 people have died in this drug war.

Update......
First of all - notice that this thread is about a year old.
Second of all - about a month after this thread started, I played golf with a buddy and the subject came up, and he graciously gave me a bag of the stuff. So my follow up question is: what is the shelf life of pot? Does this stuff never spoil?

Right when you stop gambling to prevent worldwide bookie violence.

I don't contribute to worldwide bookie violence because I gamble where it's all legal and there is no such thing as bookie violence here.
The day smoking pot becomes legal is the day you can become a pot head again...lol

Van, Ive packed up shit that was about a year old. It smokes real fast and is kind of harsh but still gets the job done. Its not like the age of it is going to make you sick or anything.
Or maybe just call for some pizza and see if you cant get some fresh shit
Great thread!

The more I read your posts, the more I like you Van. Alcohol is poison man. I can't blame you for getting bored with it. It makes ppl act like fools and is incredibly hard on the body. To answer your question, no, weed won't necessarily "go bad." However, there are three things that can lower the quality of the THC in your cannabis. Light, air, and heat. Spitfire is right, the absolute best way to store your buds is in a mason jar. Will you notice a great difference if you leave some buds in the sun, in 100 degree weather, with a breeze blowing...probably not. However, cannabis that is dried too quickly, or that dries out to the point that it is almost like dust when you break it up, will be harsh to smoke and the quality of taste will be affected. But, if you want to guarantee that what you have will never lose quality, throw it in a mason jar and throw it in the freezer. Just wondering, how is the quality of what your buddy gave you? Are we talking bricked Mexi-Cal stuff or frosty, resin coated nuggets?

This is TERRIBLE advice!!!!! Supplementing weed with salvia? Are you mental? There is ABSOLUTELY NO comparison between the two. You cannot in a million years convince me that you can control yourself on salvia. That shit wacks you out like no other. I'm not knocking salvia, but to compare it to weed is like comparing milk to everclear. Keep it green
