When Bitcoin was first known back in 2010, it was used to buy stuff online. If I had known I would have bought $50 worth @ 0.07¢ ~715 Bitcoin.

I think I was the first to post here about it, 2013.
It was $30.
Funny read if you have the time.

@vanzack
That was a cool read! I didn't buy it because of its insecurities, I look back now everything would have been better 10 years later(2020) when it surged to 31k per, my $50 investment would have been a windfall for me.
Do you still have those 3 bitcoin?

Bitcoin and crypto were great if you got in early. But as far as being new currency or transaction able with any convenience they are not hence the Visa card to spend your crypto. They are way to volatile to ever work in their intended purpose and the only reason banks are entered that Wild West is because they have the tools to and technology trade it effectively. I’ll buy at 11,000 and again at 8,800. If it ever gets there. Sounds funny but with little to no intrinsic value and only hype It will continue to trade cyclical based on historical data. Go back and chart it. Computers and bot trading are the decision makers. Be careful if you plan to bet heavy on it. Notice I say bet not invest. It’s a traders market not investment. That may change once the irs truly gets invested to stealing their share of trades lol
My opinions

And by early I just meant at the start of a run. I think their have been 4 or 5 times that the value has increased 20 fold from bottoming. Obviously if you bought from the gate you’d be rich as f.

I was correct. That price looks cheap now.

If you're just starting in crypto, it's good to learn the basics first. Understand how wallets work, the difference between coins and tokens, and how to secure your assets. Stick with major platforms like MEXC or Binance, which have a lot of educational resources and good security measures.
Also, take advantage of sign-up bonuses to reduce fees. If you’re planning to join MEXC, you might want to use a code to get some extra benefits when signing up. It helps with trading fees, which is useful when you're just getting started.

Totally agree — AVAX definitely feels like a strong contender in the next wave of blockchain innovation. The move toward Web 3.0 and token-based systems is only accelerating. If AVAX can keep up its scalability and developer support, it may be one of the key players in shaping the decentralized future. Exciting times ahead — glad to see others on the same page.

Yeah, it’s crazy to think how cheap Bitcoin was back in 2010. A lot of people say the same — “If only I had known.” Even $10 back then could’ve changed your life today. But we can’t go back, so the best we can do now is learn from it. There’s always something new coming in crypto. Just gotta stay alert and maybe catch the next big one early.

Yeah, I hear this kind of story all the time and definitely relate. I messed around with crypto around 2018, mainly altcoins, and barely touched Bitcoin because it felt too expensive at like $6k. Looking back, I wish I had bought and held instead of trying to time trades. I caught some gains during the DeFi summer but gave a lot of it back chasing trends without much strategy. These days I’m more into small Solana-based tokens, not for long holds but more for the early traction. To help with that, I’m trying things like this automated tool that creates trading volume on Solana DEXs. It’s helped get some visibility on newer tokens, especially on places like Pump.Fun and Raydium. You can check it out here:

Hey bud , I erased your link .. I’m a crypto guy myself BUT to protect everyone here , not going to allow any links to outside sites. You being in crypto , you should understand .. there are way to many scams and hackers .. the majority of folks are new and would only take a spammer sending a hack and people can lose everything ..
Feel free to post what you want but please don’t direct to outside links
