Wally, you missed the point. and more importantly, misinterpreting the Good News.
I. I am not harboring any anger, whatsoever. I love all people.
2. Christ did not want Christianity to be just in your house or mine, he wanted his disciples to preach the Word throughout the world.
Christ is Love and he wants all his sheep to find the narrow gate.

Homosexuals. Careful, one of them might try to pin you down and cut your hair, or worse, they may seduce and brainwash you.
Get to know them 19th century phobes - they're smart, funny as hell, cool and they ALWAYS know all of the hot women.

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Give to God what is His." That's the extent of "social justice" to Jesus. Salvation is not a collective pursuit but one of the individual seeking to submit to God's love and love Him with all their heart. There is no economic justice driven by any leader redistributing wealth as means to their salvation in the Bible. That's pure sophistry.
You cannot claim to love God and commit acts that are an abomination to God. Jesus did not come to change the Law, but to fulfill it. And in the great commandment He instructed us first to "Love God with all your heart...." and then "to love your neighbor as you love yourself." This puts God first and in no way can be used to condone the act of homosexuality or any other sin that is an abomination to God.
It is human nature to sin. And it is equally human nature to avoid the consequence of sin by reinterpreting the Word to mean what excuses the individual of sin. This avoidance also leads the sinner to have others accept their acts as normal since we all sin. Sin is sin and still an abomination to God. You cannot walk the path of Jesus as an unrepentant sinner. Repent! And sin no more.

My argument is not whether homosexuality is wrong or not (it's not by the way). My argument is that no one on this earth should be able to decide what another person can or can not do.
You cannot really believe that sentence?

What are your feelings on cannibalism and eating vomit, etc.

Why? Why is it anyone's business what other people do with their lives? If Bill from down the street decides to marry Jim, why does your opinion matter in the slightest? It's their lives. If they get married, it will literally have ZERO effect on your life. Your day to day life will not change.
My
And obviously this is not true.

Of course he did---see money changers and woman at the well, etc.

Of course you should judge, given the ability to know right from wrong---given the way laws are set up---the right to keep order, peace, etc. It is innate to do so and biblically established and lots of laws are based on it.

If you believe in Biblical principal, then you cannot agree with it. If you believe the Word of God, then you cannot agree. One cannot just take one section of the Bible and not the other. It is written against in both old and new Testament. In Genesis and St. Paul's letters.
If people want happy marriage, fine. a happy union, okay fine, but just not a church marriage under God.
I believe creation, not evolution.
God created Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Adam, nor Eve and Eve.
So you live your life on a fiction novel wrote a few thousand years ago?
Come on. Being religious is one thing, completely naive is another.

I understand what you are saying. Certainly not harsh---to the woman---not the money changers. But she certainly got the point. Right? I guess, as did the money changers. But just because you can judge someone doesn't mean to be harsh, condemn, etc.. Still gotta love the sinner. Agree?
Not saying anything at all about where it comes from. Lotta people are a lotta of things not of their own choosing. Doesn't make it right. They do have the choice to correct whatever may be wrong.

Really? We're citing the bible Don? It's a collection of fictional stories written for children that some parents sadly force them to read - complete nonsense.
Dr Suess has a hell of a lot more educational material than that absurd literature.

Why does it have to be those two choices? Being raised by a mulitmillionaire old lady (or one happy guy) may be better than either of those choices. Always easy to pick an extreme example. Would you say that compared to a good man/woman parent household it is better or worse? That is the assumed comparison.

100% onboard with that.

Your assumed comparison might also not be available at times. It seems there are more kids than available traditional families. Instead of bouncing around foster homes, I am not sure it's better not letting the gays/lebs couples to have them.
