I had too many to list around 14 my best was 234 yards with a 60 degree sand wedge I hooded it down closed my eyes hit it straight up my own ass. Hole in one, no bar tab but the emergency room bill was $800

    Come on a 195 yrd 7 iron.  Why?You couldn't find a 5 or 4 iron

Damn Salty, I knew you had plenty of length about you but I didn't know that it extended to off the tee as well.

Is that hard to believe bluefin It may be hard for you to believe probably because you hit a 4-5 iron from 150.

Guess what, I hit my 4 iron about 230-235 in normal conditions. I hit the ball extremely high and I am sure the guys you play with in your world probably consider you or one of your buds a long knocker with a 265 yd drive.  I have played in groups like yours and whats funny is the guy who is the group longball hitter is 75+ yards behind me. And guys after seeing this try to hang and end up overswinging on all their shots because they are concerned with what I am hitting or where I am at.

I would be more than happy to go to any course here in Little Rock and prove you wrong We could even make it a thread and update it with results

If you are confident that I can't do it...... I would love to put a wager on it with a minimum of $1000 that I can hit a 7 iron ON THE FLY 195 yards. I would even show you with a loft/lie measuring tool that the 7 iron is the correct loft.
Prove me wrong and put your money where your mouth is.

Yeah not sure what's so hard to believe.  I can hit my sandwedge 125 and PW like 150 on the regular.  Doesn't make me a good golfer, just means I can hit the shit out of the ball.

You know whats funny? When I was 17, I maxed out as far as my distances I was hitting. I was 6'5" 180 lbs and looked like I was starving. And I am 31 now and 250 lbs and twice as strong as I was then but I don't hit the ball quite as far Go figure, I think its just cause I am not lanky and as flexible like I was then. But I can still hit my irons like a beast and long as hell.
My driver clubhead speed was rated in the mid to upper 120's on the computers in my teen years. Now its down to the 115 range at 31.
    Getting old sucks.

That is so true. I don't know how many times over the years where this happened.

Hit a huge drive on the green or right next to it on a par 4 and then 3 putt or some shit for par or bogey. And the guys you just let off the hook on the bets that hole thanked me by saying " Hey man, don't worry about it, you had a good drive though"
Or get on in 2 on a par five and all you need is a birdie to clean house on bets but you 3 putt it for par

I hit the ball long but that doesn't mean my score will be guaranteed
If guys don't know me and ask what I shoot, I say I will be somewhere between 65 and 80.

My driver clubhead speed was rated in the mid to upper 120's on the computers in my teen years. Now its down to the 115 range at 31.
    Getting old sucks.

We are realist. I will tell you this if your club head speed is 115 you dont hit 300+ in normal conditions. Maybe on fast and firm fairways. You probably fly it about 270. I swing at 110 on the nose just about every time and I fly it about 265.

I will meet you in Texarkana and play you for whatever amount you want. Dont need to talk shit to BLue. Just because most of these guys one time hit a 7 iron 190 doesnt mean the do it every time. THats the difference. Hell I have hit a 7 iron 220 before but does mean anything. NO.

First of all you sound like a champion there Mr Pro and from the sound of it, I don't want any piece of you!

I never said I fly my driver 300+ yards and you are correct about about how far my driver carries in the air in the 270 range.

And as far as you stepping in like a bad ass telling me not to talk shit to blue make me laugh He calls me out like I am an idiot like I am lying about what I hit AND I RESPONDED WITH A 7 IRON CHALLENGE THAT I COULD HIT IT 195 YARDS IN THE AIR THERE NOWORRIES
If you would have read what I have said you would have read I have only played a couple of times in the last several years. But you responding like your a badass calling me out like I am a bitch is cool with me. Whatever man

Ok what do you have in mind pro? Are you wanting to take the bet that I can't hit my 7 iron 195 yards like I originally said

I am confused by what you are trying to say? Its sounds to me like you are trying to call me out like you will take all my money and beat me score wise.
What kind of bet do you have in mind with your BOLD statements?

Considering the last time I played I rate myself chipping about as good as a 25 handicapper.

I would say a fair bet would be a four-ball team. You bring who you want and I will bring who I want.

Just an idea and food for thought

    And one more thing.

Since I was not on here talking shit like I was better than anyone at golf, I just stated that I could hit an iron a specific distance after being called basically a jack ass liar

Then you are the one who made the claim you have $1000 burning a hole in your pocket and implying I am a dipshit........So here is my official response to you and your statements to me

I have not played much and I am a little rusty at the moment but I would rather play and lose than not play. So like I stated earlier, really don't know what you are trying to say other than you are better than me. Thats fine, I am sure you are a decent golfer to be making statements like you have made. I am used to playing with good golfers so if you play well and I lose, thats how it is. I have been thinking about your statements and here is the set up for a match take it or leave it

1- You come to a Little Rock area course. ( I was not looking to travel when I made my 7 iron comment that offended you )

2- We play a foursome consisting of 2, two man teams in the four-ball format.

3- It would be agreed upon that my team would have a $2000 loss limit for the day($1000 per man). Money will be shown before first shot of the first hole. So our bets for the day would have to be set up for that range overall for the day. I will pay and I would expect to be paid. Me and my golf partner will give you respect and no funny business and we would expect the same in return. And I know I said earlier about $1000 minimum bet. But that was for a for sure bet I know I would win. But if there is actual risk involved I can't afford anymore than that right now if I lost.

4- We start a thread where we can post updates and then results after we could agree on a place and time

And last thing I am not responding to this in a shit talking manor

I am responding in a friendly acceptance to play a round of golf with you

But with a twist of a little action to make it interesting so if you are down for making the trip here. I would be more than happy to get out and play, win or lose and it would provide a little entertainment here on the boards

And how could I forget this...

5- Ball will be played down, putt out ALL putts, and everyone plays from the tips at whatever course we play.

I'm used to playing Desert Canyon, always used to go with a group of friends to camp at Orondo State Park or Lincoln Rock State Park when I was like 16-18...did it every summer.  So Desert Canyon always got played a few times.  I was actually quite surprised with Highland...was worth the small price my father and I paid for the Twilight Rates...and we had a blast.  I usually only get to Bear Mountain Ranch when in Chelan for a few weekends each summer...but it's a challenge and picturesque.  The Chelan city course isn't half bad either for the price.  On this side of the mountains, I usually play Willows Run as it's 5-10mins from me.  Family used to have a membership out at Bear Creek CC...miss the days of just going out there and golfing 36 holes a few times per week.

just missed last friday, pin high, about 2 feet to the left of the hole.......did make one from the ladies tees back when I was a kid, hit my 1st shot that hit a tree and landed on the ladies tee, than proceeded to hit in the next shot....didn't count, but was still pretty cool. Been within 3 feet a few times, but still never a legit hole in one.

Man people in general just suck at golf.  Why? Cuz most of them over analyze THE SWING. I can play 18 holes in 2 and a half hours with an open course. It is beyond me that these fucking losers take 2 minutes a shot and I can step up to the ball take 10 seconds and hit it twice as far.  Fuckin a.
