Betting in Vegas Remotely Outta State

Question

Would it be possible to set up a computer in Vegas and access it to bet using go to my pc or somethin? Put it at a friends house there and sign up to stations or cantor or something. Would the casino betting site still somehow know you are accessing it out of state via my computer thats not in vegas?

Yes, it would be possible.  The IP will read from your friends computer despite the fact you are controlling it from CA unsing My PC, Teamviewer, or Logmein.

I used Logmein to access my parents computer remotely from halfway around the world and was able to access content on sites that were U.S. only (Like Hulu or videos that can only be viewed in the U.S.).

that&#x27;s interesting, Bling. I have a Cantor Gaming online PC account and their techs swear you can&#x27;t  access from out of state. kind of hope you are incorrect because otherwise the gaming control board would shut them down like they did the phone accounts years ago when people were using call forwarding out of state

I am not familiar with the software itself, they may have developed something to detect remote logins that makes this method impossible.  However, under normal circumstances, operatin a program or web browser through a remote login will show the IP address of the computer you are remoting into, not the one you are remoting from.

well sh it...I guess all I can do is try. Im not computer wiz but I dont see how they can detect that. Log me in, go to my pc, etc., is basically just mirroring a remote computer like your sitting in front of it. What about using a proxy server? Are those just random, what they assign to you or can u "pick" what area your server is in? I would think not but what the hell do i know.

Why are u so negative and feel you hafta talk sh it on other peoples posts. Just curious.If what I am asking is totally absurd and cant be done thats fine, I was just wondering if there was a work around. well THAT is very interesting because I just used my Cantor Gaming Windows 7 PC application to book a 6 team baseball parlay on line for Saturday. both Cantor AND Stations have PC apps along with one for smart phones while William-Hill has a smart phone app and is working on one for PC&#x27;sso YOU obviously do NOT know what you are talking about

It is like poker.&#xD;&#xA;You cant play through the internet.  You have to use their software.  That is the difference between a site like Pinnacle and using poker software like PokerStars.  You can use a proxy for pinnacle, you cant for Pokerstars - because imbedded in their software is protection so that you cant use things like logmein or proxies or whatever.&#xD;&#xA;Cantor Gaming works the same way.  The only way to use it from out of state would be to have a physical device (like a robot) to use a local computer.
