About making drugs legal what drugs do we make legal? Pot, Heroin, Coke, Crack? Remember if we make one drug legal we need to make all drugs legal including crystal meth, LSD , and all perscription drugs. . Want to board a train or a bus or a plane with somone who used Crystal Meth three hours earlier. Remember if you legalize one drug you need to make legal all drugs. Remember all types of alcohol is legal but people who are drunk have signs of being drunk. LSD and Meth user can go off at any time after using it.Remember making it legal means no drug testing.

I do think for myself. I've worked with addicts in my life and I can tell you that these poor souls live a miserable life and usually die ten years before they should. For every 60 year old ex pot head I can show you 10 addicts that died in their 30's. Drugs are an evil that any right headed person would condem. Maybe medical pot is necessary for a tiny group of people but not the amount of people using it for pain today. This is my last post on this subject and if I offended anyone please forgive me because I've seen what drugs can do and lead too!!

I smoked about an ounce a week for more than 15 years Not because it was addictive, but because I enjoyed it. I haven't done it for over a year now and although I do miss the feeling, it's not something that I "must have". I seem to be a little confused about what people are saying about it being used for pain relief. In all of those years, I would still have pain from sore joints or muscles, headaches or whatever. It was not like taking an aspirin and the pain goes away. Sure, it may have helped relieve some stress or tension, but it is definatly not a pain killer. I know some cancer sufferers use it to increase their appetite, which is understandable (the munchies haha). For pain relief though, Aleve will work 100 times better.

If you only knew the half of it dude.Between me and my old man we smoke3/4 pound per month.!5 years ago when we grew in our quonset hut we had 28 1000 watt lights over 500 plants.We yielded 50 pounds every two months.Best room was 57 pounds.After smoking so much weed you build a tolerance.It is not that hard to smoke 10 grams a day but hey what do you know.Your just another dumbass redneck yankee.Have a budweiser.My old man said you have the brain of a retarded smelt.LOL and thats being nice.

sorry but this thread doesn't hold much respect for me. That is way too much weed a day. I smoked 24/7 in college and when smoking the good Cripp bud a 8th maybe a qt. a week would be plenty. how can you smoke 10 grams a day, what do you do get up smoke take a nap smoke take another nap, make some food, smoke again, nap.... is your "pain specialist" a Dr.?
if you are smoking some crappy swag with seeds and stems then well I could see 10 grams a day because you can't get high on that Shiz. But if it is indoor grown I call BS.

Not all drugs are the same. There are different classifications of drugs and marijuana.
Marijuana is a whole different ball game.

Marijuana is NOT.
In fact, In California it's completely LEGAL to grow, smoke, eat, and use Marijuana everyday as long as you are a legal patient with a valid script.

Sorry, but you can't compare using weed to treat a headache and treating much more serious chronic pains/conditions. It's a different ball game. If you have to draw from your own experiences think of a time that you were seriously hung over or extremely ill... I know there were times that you were in serious need of some relief (physical and mental) and there wasn't a medicine in the world that would cure it as well as marijuana. You've probably been there.

I'm trying to understand where you are coming from-guess I'm just missing something. Weed has never cured a hangover for me or any type of serious illness, A physical illness-for example the flu,or cancer,or diabetes. Even if you smoke weed,you are not going to be cured, It might allow you to get your mind off of the symptoms for a while, but they are not being healed. If you have the flu, you are still going to have the symptoms and will still feel like shit. If your muscles hurt from excessive use, you can't just smoke a joint and they don't hurt anymore. If you need a hip replacement, you can't just burn a bowl and be as good as new. You're still going to feel the pain when you walk whether you are high or not. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe it affects people differently, but I'm just stating from my own experience.
