    https://chicagosidesports.com/50-reasons-chicago-is-better-than-boston-blackhawks-bruins-rivalrybait/

I'll give them a couple of those reasons but overall its no comparison.  Boston is arguably the best city in the country.  Great sports teams, great tradition and history, low crime rate, lot of hot college girls, great food espec seafood, nice weather, an overall clean city (went to Detroit this year and there was litterally trash piled on the sides of the highway).  I mean as long as you don't mind dealing with pesky liberals its pretty awesome.  Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.  Don't get me wrong a lot of cities are nice but Boston is the only one I'd want to live in

Chicago is way better it doesn't even compare. Just ask all the Bostonian transplants that live there. Just think, the weather sucks there and people still flock to Chicago. Personally I believe people in Chicago are a lot more cordial than most from Boston.

The surly attitude of Boston is overrated sure people are rude espec with regards to driving but you don't risk your life the way you do in a lot of big cities.  Crime in Chicago is terrible, weather sucks, and the sports teams are overated.

One point: Boston doesn't have a "low" crime rate. It has double the violent & property crime NYC has, for example.

Anyway, Chicago is a much, much better city. Though Boston is a great town and has lots to be proud of.

The thing about crime in Chicago is about 90% of it takes place on the South or West. Which is where you would never see, visit, or stumble upon. If it was bad on the North side then no one would live here. Weather sucks, check. And sports are about as good as Boston's are. In my opinion both overrated.

I was in Boston once 30 years ago. As i recall the drivers don't stop @ red lights and enjoy cutting people off. Is that still the deal?

per capita but NY also has 25 times as many police officers.  Incidents wise its no comparison

I personally love Boston. I've lived there and been there many times, it's a great great city. But I think the best city in the US is San Francisco. Canada has the 4 best cities in North America though.

Same as in Jacksonville,FL. 95% of the crime occurs in 5 % of the land area. Just don't exit onto MLK Blvd. at night and you'll see a wonderful, safe city.

Never been to Chicago, but Boston is one of the safest, cleanest cities I've ever been to.

The best thing about Boston - leaving!

Everything about that city sucks. Just look at the idiot Menino who runs the city, look at their imbecile governor.
You know you're talking with a Harvard seiche because it takes less than 6 seconds for them to tell you.

I'll take Portland, ME all day long over Boston.

Chicago is very clean as well. Boston too. Now NY, not so much. One thing that Chicago has is alleys, which allow you to throw your trash out behind your house or business, making it pretty much out of sight. Nothing nastier then going to NY and seeing a leaking garbage from a restaurant as you walk down the street. Anyways visit Chicago in July, you won't regret it.

     Boston having nice weather.

Sure if you like shoveling snow off your driveway 5 months out of the year.

San Diego is probably the best overall city in America to live but I can't afford to live there.....at least not yet

San Diego def nicest weather in the country or close to it.  Lived in OKC the past year and it was some of the most bi polar terrible weather I've ever experiences.  Boston's winters generally aren't too bad and the summers are mild.  It depends what you like

Exactly right. Or affiliated gang members getting shot while standing on a street corner at 4am. If you're not out looking for trouble in Chicago-you'll have a great time with no problems.

Lived in Chicago for a couple of summers back in college, and Chicago summers can't be beat.  So much to do in the city.  Never been to Boston though, and have always wanted to visit.  Can't imagine I would enjoy it more than Chicago, my favorite city.
