Ryan O'Halloran, of The Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis (knee) sustained a second-degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during the team's Week 9 loss. Portis said he "can't straighten" his knee out, but he is hopeful of playing this week. Head coach Jim Zorn said there is a "50-50" chance Portis plays in Week 11. A second-degree sprain of the MCL is an incomplete tear and could require a recovery time of three to four weeks.
