I know exactly what you're saying. I have a jumpy trigger finger. What can I say? I make moves that don't make sense and work out at times. Looks like we'll see.

And Hamilton can also get hurt to make this deal work. We know he's good at that. He just needs to slide home to break something.

Yea. Once I figure out who my team is (probably by weeks end), I'll look at rebuilding. I usually don't do it this early but we all know I can work my magic. It just takes 5 moves to make sense.

Hamilton is in a contract year. He plays 150 games this year bats .330, hits 41 homers, knocks in 140+ and scores 100+ runs.

Maybe he signs an extension before the season starts and it's no longer his contract year.

So far I'm 2 for 3 in my free agent pickups in terms of solidity. Hawes and Brooks have been great. TWill was a mistake. I thought I read that he had 22 points but he had 22 minutes and FOUR points. But no harm no foul.

Not sure.. Im shy with trades but basically only traded on basketball and turned out to be ''decent'' last year so Im testing the water right now. Sparky made some solids attempt

You think I made solid attempts? You didn't even see the one I had sitting there for a full day before my cooler head prevailed. That's when I posting that thing in your matchup. So it may have looked like David Lee for Lawson was the big deal...but that wasn't even it.

I will be more active in the trade market, once I know what I need on my team and where my weakness are... I'm probably gonna need a few weeks to see. I have no clue what is good in terms of points,rebounds, assists and all that in a single week yet?

In a keeper league its hard to veto anything ever because there are so many angles to every trade. It has to be horrendous for me to veto a trade. Something like Arian Foster for Frank Gore .

I know it's different being a kepper league, but even if he is this crazy talent, he won't make a fantasy baseball impact until at least his 3rd year. He won't be in the majors for the first year you know that, maybe he plays a little in the 2nd and then plays the 3rd. But even then it's hard to imagine him being a solid fantasy player.

How can you say he won't make an impact till year 3? It's all a "What If" thing. he could be an instant star like Posey was only with more production. Whose to say he won't be great from his first game? And if I can have him for 5 years...it's worth the risk.

I think Harper starts this year in the Majors. Maybe a solid 3 years from him.

And it wasn't Harper for Hamilton. I also got Bumgarner (when I was looking for pitching for a while) and a first round draft pick. Obviously you guys don't think that makes it any better but it wasn't straight up.
