If this is a 1st half blowout, Boise will rest their regulars in the 2H just like they have done this season, especially with the Hawaii game next week.
It doesn't matter if they win the game 48-21 or 75-0, no score they can put on the board will make a difference in the BCS standings.
Running up the score does nothing for teams anymore. SOS is the big underlying factor these days in the BCS calculations.
Rolling with points and hopefully it will be close at half time and possibly play BSU 2h and have a middle to hit

Let the video game begin!!! Making a 1st half bet only tonight. (Over 35). It will be a very quick start for Boise like they do weekly. They tend to slow down in the 4th quarter. La Tech is good enough to score 3 TDs themselves tonight which makes the game total of Over 65 look pretty good too. Staying away from the +/-39 though. Tech could cover this.

Sorry man but these are USELESS stats. Who has Boise played? Another thing....Boise is usually up on its opponents VERY quickly...thus forcing the team AWAY from the running game. I would base ZERO off those stats.

Agree that it IS a lot of points and maybe a no play, but one thing that hasn't been brought up yet is this scary little statistic for Tech backers: their 113th-ranked defense in FBS (448.7 total yards allowed per game).
Unless the weather really is a factor, it's hard to imagine the Broncos not putting up at least 63 on them.
Tech has shown it has some offense, but the kind of defense Boise plays can neutralize it.
Mulling it over but if I do, I'm layin' the lumber and taking my chances with the team that needs the style points.

i'm lookin for a big over tonite--both teams can score and boise will--but will they cover all those points against L tech ? boise has been a money maker all year--but as i said the over looks better tonite.Weather is cold maybe a wet field from the showers--should'nt stop the pass.GL to all

books have lost enough money on boise this year. only game of the night, here is their chance to get some of the money back and they will..REASON #1 they will cover
REASON 2 everyone on this forum is on boise. Of course, always go against these forums. You will end up winning WAYYYYYYYYYY MORE than losing. TRUST ME.
REASON 3 LA tech is coming off an unimpressive game vs HAWAII. many ppl don't think too highly of hawaii but they have speed at almost every skill position and they beat NEVADA, who was THE BIGGEST THREAT to BOISE this year. Even more reason the public will be on BOISE.
REASON 4 Both teams have similiar teams to last year. WHERE BOISE ONLY WON BY 10 POINTS. 5 TOUCHDOWNS is a lot to give in a game where RUNNING will be a high priority..
