Ask yourself one question. Will Clemson be able to run the ball?

Well Stoops showed he still cannot seal the deal in a big game, not taking nothing away from Clemson but BAMA/SABAN showed what they have beneath the hood, that s all I'm saying, did great on BAMA, they put me back in the positive for bowl season, done betting college football for the season, cheers and Happy New Years to all you mad men and women, go BAMA!

The Tide will prevail. There's been alot posted about Nick Saban playing it close to the vest and it is true that Bama generally does not cover the big spreads. Alabama is 8-6 ATS this year but if you look at games when they are favored by 10 pts or less they are 5-1. This team has shown improvement in all phases of the game as the year has went by and really seems to be on a mission. The talking heads on TV will no doubt be touting Watson and pointing out that dual threat QBs give the Tide defense problems. Well Da! Watson is a great QB and has given every team he's played fits. Saban and Smart will come up with a gameplan to limit his effectiveness. I suspect that they will try to contain him in the pocket and make him a more one dimensional player as they have with other running QBs in the past. Clemson had 312 yds rushing against Oklahoma, don't see them having that kind of success against the Tide. There has been alot posted on here about some of Sabans miscues in Bowl games ( Utah Oklahoma etc. ). Other than last years close loss to the Buckeyes in the semi's Saban's teams have won and covered on the big stage going 4-0 in games for the national title. Last years loss to OSU has provided extra focus and motivation for this team. The other wildcard is Kirby Smart. This maybe the best defense he has coached and I believe that they would love nothing better than to send him off to Georgia with his 4th national title. Jake Coker and the passing game have improved all year and throw in the best back in the nation and the Tide will not be stopped. I have a place in my heart for Dabo and maybe someday he will be our next coach but right now he is heading towards a perfect storm in the Arizona desert. Alabama -7 GLTA!

Think you Bama backers are in for a big surprise.

You all thought Bama was a no brainer against Ohio St.,last year.LOL

This will be 2 years in a row, that Bama will fall flat on their face.

    Alabama - 27                                          Clemson- 23

    Tigers +7               an_cheers                under 51

Hold that Tiger. Maybe, but I think they score enough to stay within 7.

    Clemson - Under    an_clap

When the game is a toss up, take the points, +7.0 Clemson!

Nobody believed that Clemson could keep up with Oklahoma either, where's the respect for Dabo's boys. These kids are big, fast and talented and there's a bunch of em goin to the NFL. Tigers + 7 all day long! Gonna be a lot of "Bama Backers" cryin in their beer on Monday.an_violin

Everyone assumes Clemson will not be able to run the ball with the two defensive tackles and inside line backer from Bama slated to be picked in first 20 picks of NFL draft. That may be so but it could be Clemson's O line is best Bama has seen this year-all 5 of them received all ACC honors: 1 first team, 1 second team, and the other 3 third team- yes I know it's the ACC but you rarely see an entire O line with those accolades and no one has stopped Watson all year- especially last 2 games when it really counted. Just saying!

As far as I am concerned college football is over. Pre bowl games are much better to bet on, as least to me.   Not betting and I don't care who wins.

For everyone who says someone is no good because they have not played anyone makes no sense.  That does not mean their not good.  It just means that they had a weaker schedule but they still just could be the better team.

Should be a good one! Speed vs. power. In my opinion, Bama wears down Clemson in the second half and eeks out a cover, winning by 10. But, my major wager will be on the  UNDER !!! - GL all.  ---    THE MYTH
