I'm kind of Liking what the Cinnicinati Bearcats are working with this year. Seems as though they are peaking at the right time. Especially with a Bortles - less UCF and a rather soft AAC otherwise. They have former Top recruit Gunner Kiel looking to be the starter, from what I've read ( barring some decision to throw Munchie Legeaux out there ahead of him). They also return three SOLID receivers
1. Shaq Washington- 78 rec / 783 yards
2.Chris Moore- ( Tubervilles golden boy) 45 rec / 645 yards
3. Mekale McKay- averaged 30.3 receptions per catch last year ( 16 grabs/ 485 yards)
They also have a Darren Sproles- esque player in Ralph Abernathy IV who lead the team with 1,046 all purpose yards last year.
Defense appears to be solid from a stingy crew last year which ranked 9th nationally in total defense. Returning their top backers, Jeff Luc ( 43 stops) and Nick Temple ( 80 tackles). UC is running a dual defensive coordinator system this year with Hank Hughes ( 1st year) and Robert Punta ( 1st year) which I guess is mildly alarming.
They have a decent schedule besides @Ohio State and @Miami if they can upset Miami they might be a force.
The question will most likely be Gunner Kiel, but I think Kiel has found the right fit, If he can reach his potential look out!! If not it will probably be Munchie in week 3 for the Buckeye game. Which isn't a horrible plan B by any means.
