This week was another chop wood week so to speak. Going 9 - 5 and picking up 11 units. I m closing in on my goal to hit 60% for the year. Im killing these totals, hope you guys are paying attention and cashing in.  We have a ton to talk about...so let's get started.

    Ten Things we learned

    1. Well, I told you last week that at some point Nebraska's young stud would have to throw the ball to win a game. Enough said.
    2. Ohio S.T continues to look bad on the road. What is the deal with this teams special teams. The trademark of ALL  championship teams are great special teams play. This team doesn't have that. So you do the math.
    3. Great play call at the end of the game there " Ole Ball Coach ". Why am I hard on South Carolina? Enough Said. Why even run that play? Kick the damn FG. Your better than Kentucky. Just the same old S.C.
    4. How good is Michigan S.T? Pretty good IMO. Go Back and look at my College football Breakdown. Some of those predictions are looking pretty good as of now.
    5. What a shootout in the SEC yesterday. Auburn and Arkansas scored a ton of points. Predicted by yours truly. Auburn and Gus Malzuan are a machine right now. Question is, how far can these guys go? That 6'6 monster of a QB IMO is the biggest threat in the country right now. Heisman Winner? Right now I say yes.
    6. Most of you prolly didn't see it or even cared. But, Western Kentucky almost won there first game in like 15 years... until they gave up 28 points in the final quarter to lose the game. God bless you Hilltoppers. May you have good health.
    7. Hey Florida Gator fans. LMAO, WTF is going on with your program? Your now Losing to Miss S.T. Urban Myer looks like he is about to give up. Peach bowl here you come.
    8. It's time for my Les Miles segment. These guys could play my local High school team close. Don't let that final score fool you. LSU really struggled to win that game last night. Les Miles is either the smartest man alive, or this guy is the luckiest guy ever in the history of mankind. I know I have said it before, but is he really crossed eye? Can somebody confirm that?
    9. Oklahoma is quietly winning every week. I predicted a Oklahoma vs Boise S.T BCS Championship game. Go back and look at my college football breakdown. These guys are good and are getting better every week. IMO the only game they have worth worrying about is @ Oklahoma S.T.
    10. Boise S.T is the best team in the country. I know you guys don't want to hear that, But it's true. Every week I come on here and tell you they are and some of you tell me why your team is or why Boise isn't. Well, all of those other teams keep dropping like flies and Mine is still here. When this season is over, we will ALL watch Boise hold that trophy above there head.

Pick Later............. Get ready for another great week

I visit your thread specifically for the weekly write-up.  I miss Cox though...man he was an ugly dude.

BOOM, I've watched every Tennessee game this year, and I really like the under play here.

Alabama will possibly cover the 16.5 spread, but Tennessee will have trouble scoring points against Bama's D. Tennessee is going to let true freshman backup QB , Tyler Bray, play significant minutes in the first half. He had a solid series against UGa in mop-up time, but has yet to play in a significant situation. The veterans on this team aren't crazy about running two QB's in the first half, as many of those veterans had to go through this process with Jon Crompton and Nick Stephens during Fulmer's last year. Tennessee's offensive line is one of the youngest in the nation, and lacks depth, and is extremely beat up. This will affect the passing and running games.

On the flip side, the Tennessee defense has been shaky lately, giving up a lot of points to Georgia (in Athens). Tennessee is better vs the run than the pass, but Bama will beat up the d-line and LB's (who have had tackling problems this season). Time will definitely be ticking when Bama has the ball, and Tennessee will have to run the clock as well to try and stay close in this one.

The Vols play tough in Neyland Stadium. They played better than Oregon during that first half, and played Florida very close most of that game. I'm not worried about whether or not they cover the spread, but it's safe to say that this will be a low scoring game, especially for the Vols.

Point Totals from the last 5 matchups in this rivalry game when it was played in Knoxville: 38, 29, 30, 48, 30.

Great play with the Under 48.5!!!!

Glad to see at least one of my o/u's on here:

    UNC/MIAMI o 48             NEB/OKST o 60

....agree with BOISE ST for most part....feel like I defend them at least 5 times a year...If they go undefeated, end the drama, give them the title game and put up or shut up...if BOISE is to have the recent bowl record they do, reg season record, and then go beat a ''BIG'' school in the title game, we would gain peace for a day....of course after that haters would discect how teams # 3, 4 or 5 could have beaten them instead of team # 1 of 2 .......Moore and Young all day

Yo Boom Like most of your picks, especially the totals.

Good luck keeping it going man. Would love to hear you rationale

on the Clemson pick. I was really leaning heavy on Georgia Tech

with the points. Tech has beaten Clemson in 4 straight matchups.

To me the line stinks, its too many points, like they are begging for money on Tech....Any thoughts would be much appreciated..

    Good luck

    Good luck

I actually have a thread about that game...

    But here it is anyways..

This game has been circled on my gambling calender all year. This game, is my biggest play in a few years. Clemson IMO will give G.T a smack down that Paul Johnson hasn't received yet since joining the ACC. Clemson has waited for there chance for redemption at this team. This G.T although good, has holes in it. Don't be fooled, this team is not the same as last years team. Here in Clemson, Dabo and this staff has made it very clear just how important this game is. Clemson's experienced OL will (and you can write this down) dominate G.T at the line of scrimmage. If Clemson runs less than 250 to 300 yds on G.T I will be extremely surprised. I think Paul Johnson knows what he will be walking into Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere in Clemson will be insane come this weekend. Much like a ambush is what G.T will be walking into. I actually think you will see a few of G.T players get hurt in this game. If you haven't been paying attention, Dequan Bowers and this DL is finally stating to dominate. Clemson this season like last season has started slow, but I expect a strong finish. After Clemson shows a dominating performance Saturday vs G.T I think this team may run the table. Yes, That includes beating NCST, @ FSU and beating S.C. This is one of those games that Boom is telling you to pull the trigger on. I expect the line to be Clemson -4.5, that's my guess. If any of you have any questions or comments about this game feel free to ask.

    BOOM,

Was thinking of adding Okl St +5.5 & the Over 60 in that game.  What's your thoughts, since your the TOTAL'S KING.

I can see Neb getting theres agianst states D, but I believe they will be able to put some pts on the board as well.  TMagic will rush for over 100, but I still believe Okie St is very underrated & their balanced attack will keep Neb on its hills.

Typically when a team who was or thought they were in national contention loses there first game....Comes out flat the next game... So, my logic says either play the under..or don't play it at all...

222- I wouldn't say that guy hadicapper is a bad guy. I think he has a right to his opinion just like everybody else. I think what he needs to learn is how to go about it in this forum...Take Jimmy for example, He and I don't agree on the Boise issue either, but we both have a mutual respect between each other.

222= Classy guy...  BOL This weekend buddy
