I was never interested in the game anyhow because the Big10 is not a conference I feel like pursuing this year so I'll take a pass and watch that one (unless there is a better option on TV)

Big, big fan but struggling with your OU pick.

TCU lost a tough road game against and vastly underrated TT squad and played a solid game against LSU on a neutral field. IMHO, TCU probably has the best two loses in college football this year and was in both games at the end

Another small factor is my view of the SMU game. To me it looked like TCU was looking ahead to this game and had done very little game planning. If my read is right, they spent two weeks to preparing for Stoops. On this flip side, OU may be looking ahead this week to the RRR.

SMU-TCU is a hatred like you can't imagine, a big rivalry

the reason TCU looked as if they were looking ahead is mainly because they aren't that good, simply put

until the last few minutes of the game they had their hands completely full with SMU, just like last year

TCU was left in the LSU for a while because of LSU mistakes, that game was not in doubt

I don't talk people out of plays, I can only tell you what I think since you posted in my thread, so I will

 

something is wrong in Ft Worth, this is not the same TCU program from a few years ago and that offense stinks, I've also heard several rumors of the "ATS" nature, I know a lot of people in DFW,  I personally think OU sends them packing, my opinion

 

as with any wager, anything can happen and nothing is a guarantee, I can be wrong just like anyone else can, do whatever you feel is the right thing, hope you get the money bro

Your record and your insight speaks volumes on your picks.

I agree with the OU play.  Patterson is not what he was in the past and the players I believe feel the same way.  Two weeks ago they looked like it was their first time at a game for the first half.

it sounds as if you may initially leaned to TCU because of the spot for OU and possible look ahead to RRR, if that's the case then just find other games on the board to wager on, don't be against your own play because I like OU and because I'm doing well lately

I don't like to talk others out of something, we all have to bet with our own system and our own gut feels

you will see me try to sway someone on very rare occasions, I did it last week to MaineRoad because I know he's tailed a lot of my plays over the years and he's stated several times that I've made him thousands, other than that, I don't do it

I think making your own decision in wagering based off your own numbers is the way to go, that is how you learn how to win

Or any year... I generally only bet Big 10 games during OOC play... so I think we will both be on the same side on this one!

Nice under the radar type game with Tulane coming off big road win, north is an improving squad with decent talent, Tulane has nearly zero HFA, just a lean for now but may make the grade
