Week 6 Money

USC's running game really had its way with Ariz St's D and if it weren't for Lane just getting in the way of his own team (halfback pass on 4th and 2? Really?), that would've been a closer game.

Curious if you think USC will be materially better w/o Lane or ASU's D is actually more vulnerable than people think.

the USC running game was a bright spot but some of the holes were bigger than I would expect, I think asu is just behind what I thought defensively. I knew they weren't a great defense but figured they would step up at home & honestly they didn't play very well for many spurts

I was impressed with the devil ground game though more than I thought I would be, several things went a bit differently than I would have thought so what I take away is

-- asu can really score when their wideouts catch the ball (if u remember they couldn't catch a cold vs Wisky)
--asu can't stop any ground game with consistency
-- I will look for possible OVERS with them
--USC won't have depth with or without Lane, although they may have value in spots for the remainder of the season depending on how the players handle this unusual situation
-- I probably won't mess with many of their games from here on out now that lane is gone

Upside--
I don't see a letdown from OU because those players take TCU very seriously, I also don't worry about a look ahead to Texas next week because horns don't worry them as much as usual

I normally would be cautious of a sandwich spot between notre Dame & Texas but not with the opponent being TCU & this being a very important conference game

I think OU lays the wood to TCU by 21 or so

BOL Wahoo. I think OU will be fine this week also. As someone who follows them very very closely, this team has a much different mentality. One in which I don't think they will be over looking games. Good luck with your OU bet.

I think OU has a great mindset right now & offense is picking up steam, they play great in Norman & TCU is not going to keep pace in my opinion, they truly don't scare me at all, hopefully I'm right because I prefer to win, haha

Something is wrong in Ft. Worth. Can't put my finger on it and neither can the devoted alumni I know. Patterson's coaching may have finally worn out his players. Wore out the alumni long time ago. Oklahoma is definitely concerned about Texas as is the remaining schedule of UT now. However, not a bad bet at -10 over the frogs as they very well could be  about one game from mailing it in.

I don't have much of an opinion with ucla , that line is tight & utes have a decent environment that will rocking, ucla is better than them no doubt but teams can feed off the emotion of a home game in the prime time spot

Mich. was OR @ the start of the season not now.  Why should the GG be hyped now?  They were "hyped" LW, The Pig, HC, etc.  If Hawks can beat them in Mpls by 16, WTF do you think is going to happen @ the "Big House"?   MN has a very pedestrian offense, below avg. QB play & not much  better @ RB.  I jumped on the -20 & love it.  Gardner wakes up 42-13 Big Blue.  BTW I'm a GG alum.
