The " SEC circle jerks as you call them, were created by Boomer... Don't worry though, he isn't leaving Covers.. he will do what he did the last two or three times he said he was done.. He will start a thread saying he is going to focus on capping, and ignore the " haters' crap , .. Trust me, everyone knows he never keeps his word

Well said........and in no way am I attempting to defend him.....I'm a firm believer in "if you're gonna dish it out, you better be able to take it"..........it's just a shame that it had to go down the way it did, and the "Attention Forum" thread did little more than confirm many of the statements you've made. You know this is killing him but, at the same time, I have a hard time understanding how people take all this so seriously. I, for one, will miss the entertainment.  Best of luck.

Go back and read his thread. He doesn't flat bet. He says he has 5 unit max bets and has won all of them. Possible? Yes. But you need to be an honest person and designate larger plays beforehand bc a simple win/loss record is not accurate.

Who doesn't like reading Boom's 10 Things We Learned?  Who cares if he disses your team... its his blog and imo its interesting.  Much more interesting than 99% of the other posts on Covers.

I dont know why everyone makes a big deal about it..Booms been on here for yrs helping people and giving great College football info..Were all on here for one reason..To beat the house and WIN!..Capping is hard, trust me. I've been in every loosing position known to man.. I met boom in "08" when I was browsing the forum. Won a garbage ton of $$ following him & recieving great football advice..did we have loosing weeks?..yes we did. but handicapping is a war. You may loose a battle, but overall you look to win the war.  Back in those days we never had a problem like this at all!!  I met alot of other great cappers as well on here. This site turned to garbage past 2 yrs. all it is is bashing. Everyone seems to hate this guy, but gets over 3,000 views a thread. he has done alot for this site and Ive enjoyed his threads over the yrs. A few guys on here I cant stand when they post.Like the guy who who writes in diff colars makes house payment bets, car payment bets..buy's points & hooks..says hes gonna be in booms challenge. No $50 entry, but comes in thread giving odds whos gonna win it all..(wtf)... all dribble. Do I go into his threads and bash him?..no I do not. I leave him alone. Why?..Because I'm a 33 yr old mature man..I use this site to try to make $$...  So I ask you guys...Why do you come into Booms threads each week?..GL to All beat the house C34...

Well, he claims he wants discussion but the minute people are disagreeing with him, he mocks, ridicule and talks down to them. One of his favorite quote," I forget more then you know.". What's not to like with a person with this 'great" attitude?

When the game results happen to be in his favor, he makes call-out threads to mock others. He says it's all "fun and games" when he does it but when others are doing the same thing, they are just "haters and trolls". You seem to be a reasonable person so let me ask you, "How are his call-out threads helping others to make money?". It's not like he never went into others' threads after games to laugh at their losing bets so why should he be exempt from any of it?

Exactly.....why would anyone really give a garbage one way or another? It's just a sports forum. People on here talk like they actually met and know each other. lmao whatever.

Wow @ this! I am new here, but this is a meltdown of epic proportion. I kinda think you have to be a little fragile to let message board fodder bother you to this extent. He trolls SEC fans and then doesn't like the returns off of his banter? What does he expect? Sounds like he has a few friends on here, but a cardinal rule of trolling, the playground, any athletic competition, LIFE is "if you're gonna dish it out, you gotta take it!"

Agree, he was very entertaining...like someone said, a train wreck...you could count on it like clockwork.  But I believe he'll be back, he can't stay away.  He's probably using this as an excuse to not face his subpar record this week...in a couple weeks, he'll be back.

I don't understand why Boom is so thin skinned. I mean after all this is all in good fun. He rips on teams every week so he should expect some blowback. He should be thrilled so many people cared enough to read his top Ten things learned. He's built up this following do why quit now?

Are you the power of attorney for Boom. He is gone and I will not lose any sleep over that. I am here to win money but he put himself in this situation. He had a very huge mouth with not much to back it up.  I respect your picks but standing up for such a fool and telling people to grow up is silly.  Let the Boom grow up and stop having people stand up for him.
