    Play number 4

    East Caro - 22.5

Not getting the best of this number but hopefully it shouldn't matter, FIU is horrific in every facet

Wahoos you stated in post 1 Florida St beats a juco team by 32 and Oregon beats a top 15 team by 28 and Oregon loses ground huh?

Just my humble opinion but the college guru's don't want Oregon playing Alabama. They're hoping both Bama & Fla St win out! I know Bama has a great "D", but take it to the bank, Bama will be unable to keep up with Oregon offensively, period,IMHO.....

If any thoughts worth mentioning on the game in Tallahassee, they'd be much appreciated.

WahooS,, You still on UTk with the QB out ? Man that is a sorry azz team bro.. I know you're playing against the Mizzu motivation factor, and UT "should" play better after Bama went in dry on em last week.. But they flat out suck, and now the back up freshman is in ? GL bro, I'm gonna be rooting for ya.. But I'm gonna have to set this one out.. LOVE the rest though.. Especially ECU !!!

The 2nd largest play I have made this season is gonna be on FSU this weekend.. I see this game being the same (if not worse) as Clemson/FSU.. BAMA, FSU, and Oregon are in a league of their own.. All 3 of them will beat their opp by 20+ until the NCG where either Oregon or FSU will be left out.. I'm afraid it might be Oregon.. Damn, why can't we have a playoff this year ?!?!?!

Anyway, FSU will force Miami into doing what they do best, turn the ball over.. I actually think it is close for 1-2 Q's.. Then JW takes over... And the Noles defense pins their ears back !! 49-17 Noles

    Chad--

I often grab games early & on occasion will buy out or try to middle, I'm goofy like that, I'm honestly completely uncomfortable with backing the Vols but the spot does favor them here & assumed the line would dip down if i wanted out, I'm sure I'll be a wuss & bail at some point, who knows

Just my humble opinion but the college guru's don't want Oregon playing Alabama. They're hoping both Bama & Fla St win out! I know Bama has a great "D", but take it to the bank, Bama will be unable to keep up with Oregon offensively, period,IMHO.....

I think the bigger question is can Oregon keep scoring on a stout defense like Bama's?

Alabama has plenty of offense to keep up with anyone IMO and a running game that Oregon will not contain. Oregon is getting way too much hype.

I agree Gene. I think Oregon is way over-hyped. It's amazing how after 1 week everyone is back off FSU. Their starters did not play the entire 2nd half because they had a 40 point 1st half lead. If Florida State does not get a shot to play for a national title it really would be a shame because I, like many others, feel they may be the best team in the nation this year.

Actually agree whole heartedly. Life-long Bama fan, resident of Tuscaloosa, and student of UofA(I really like Alabama). Oregon I feel is just the better team this year. Bama's d is not what it has been for the last couple of years. Saban runs a great team defense scheme, but Oregon would isolate individuals outside and take that away. Alabama just lacks the defensive playmakers this year to win those 1v1's. Hoping Florida St. gets to the ship. It is really hard to beat Alabama at their own game. Just ask N.D. Two closely matched teams running similar schemes edge goes to Saban any day.

Also you guys were talking about how teams fared who played Stanford the week before earlier in the thread....check into teams that played Bama the week before. Brutal numbers after playing a bruising team. If you could turn fatigue off I think Missouri probably could beat Tennessee this week without ever taking a snap offensively. 25 sacks in a league that values O Line way more than most is downright impressive. Not to mention Tenn's got a scrub under center this week. Missouri seems like the play to me.

Lol, I hear ya man.. I do agree the spot favors UTk.. And it's hard to tell much about a QB going up against Bama.. But this QB played against Bama's 2nd and 3rd string.. So I guess that should give us a little something.. I think I might toy with the under ? Mizzu's defense is good, I think the sloppy part will be their offense this week.. Jmo, good luck as always HooS...

On the Bama vs Oregon discussion....

Look, you give Nick Saban 4 weeks to prepare for ANY, and I mean ANY offense he will criple it.. Oregon makes bread on edge rushes to soften the middle.. Bama is so damn thick in the middle they can play Dime and still shift into a 3-4 defense.. Also, most all of Mariota's throws are to WIDE open rec.. This comes from playing zone and watching the backfield to much.. Saban plays man coverage and demands his LB's and Safeties to make the edge.. This would be a GREAT game!! But I feel the Ducks would be at a disadvantage for a few reasons..

    1) Bamas Offense can score just as quick, or grind it out and punish Oregons undersized DL..

    2) Bama has the best athletes Oregon will see this year on defense.. So what does Oregon do when they are behind the sticks? Panic ? When you're never faced with adversity in a season and then it comes in "The Game".. It can cause extreme panic to set in and turnovers come..

    3) Coaching, need I explain ?

    4) Special Teams - Oregon has DAT, and I do agree he is more dangerous than CJ.. But Bama's kickers are better than Oregons and Bama has an NFL ready punter (Already has 2 punts over 65 yards this year) and that kills drive starts and the return game..

The only edge I see for Oregon is speed on offense, but Saban has played MANY teams before that was "TO FAST" for Bama and shut em out... The clear advantage here is Saban having 4 weeks to prepare.. But I so badly wanna see this game

It's worth point out that the freshman backup QB for Tennessee is significantly more talented than the guy who's been playing all season. Jones was trying really hard to redshirt the freshmen, and it didn't work out because both non-freshmen are now injured. So the Vols are essentially trading experience for talent. I don't know how that will work out (my suspicion is an offense that can move the ball better but makes more mistakes), but it's not your standard "assume a big dropoff without the starting QB" thing.
