TONIGHT:
UCLA goes into Tuscon to play the Wildcats who just fired their coach Mike Stoops. I was a believer in Stoops and I feel he got a raw deal getting fired with a team that is really struggling defensively with a ton of injuries. Tonight they are in for another long night as the the Bruins come into to town with a team that despite their record are way more talented than the Cats. The Bruins had the No. 8 recruiting class in 2010, the No. 14 class in 2009 and the No. 13 class in 2008, according to Rivals.com. In a game of two struggling teams, talent level will come into play.
UCLA is ranked 28th nationally in rushing offense (194.50); the Bruins have allowed 0.67 sacks per game this season to rank tied for 9th in the nation. (Arizona has recorded only three sacks all year, last in the Pac-12 and 118th - out of 120 - in the nation.)
UCLA QB Kevin Prince came in last week for the injured Brehaut and looked good! Posting solid numbers 8/13 for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 int. Against a really struggling Arizona defense who will give him all day, look for him to look just as good.
Arizona yes has star QB Nick Foles on offense however, like all year there is only so much he can do with a terrible defense on his side. Not to mention a piss poor running game that is caused by a horrible offensive line. There also is a great possibility that his favorite target Criner will be out tonight. UCLA with the more balanced attack and more talented defense should win this game out right as they will also win the battle upfront at the line of scrimmage where Zona is completely terrible. I will take the generous 4.5 and feel super confident with this play.
