The sad state of affairs of college football

There was no way they were going to let texas lose that game for alot of reasons.....The powers that be had to have a bama/texas national championship game first there is all the tv money and tcu is not as attractive as texas and then these power conferences do not want to give away what they think is rightfully their's......

I remember when obama was elected he said that they should look into having a playoff system and these power conferences said that politics should not be involved in college football......What a load of crap because that is all college football is about is politics!!!!!!

Just a sad state of affairs that no one will everyone know who the true national champion really easy just like last season flordia was given it but utah went undefeated and the gators did have a loss....Well it's all about the money!!!!!

once a ball passes out of the field of play, the clock should stop. even when the ball hit the ground out of bounds, there was still 1 second left on the clock, it was the right call

the most boring game of the day was Texas/Neb....58 minutes of boring as shit, until the last 2 minutes....12-13 final....snorefest....SEC final game wasnt THAT great, but at least there were points scored...it was a blowout and a joy to see the best team in the nation show their true colors...

TCU is a great team, and i would agree that they would probably put up a better fight tnan Texas will, but TCU has played NO ONE...Utah? BYU? a 4 loss Clemson team? those arent good teams people....once i have seen them tested, then i will give them the credit they deserve

Who has Texas played and/or beaten?  a 5 loss Oklahoma team?  a 4 loss Tech team?  Please- if you think UT is better, that's fine.. but don't preach Texas' all mighty schedule.

lot of ppl. crying about if the clock ran out or not the review said 1sec left which i agree with  and hear we go again the games are rigged and so on  but when tx stoped neb on  4th down and both ref spotted the ball at the same spot short &that play was over turn the ball was moved up another 3ft. for the first down   but the ref wanted tx. to win yea that makes alot of since

untill thier a play off  were going to go through this every yr.

its just like last yr. between  T.T. & OLK & TX. all 3 were in the top 5 and lose to a top 5 so who goes ? okl went  just part of the  BCS. thats how the chips landed.

tv ratings...attendance...and interest has never been higher..

go back and review that entire football game Bruce... tell me how many seconds expired on out of bounds throws in that one game, that were not put back on the clock... i'll tell you... zero!  and yet, i promise you if the same ruling was applied to the rest of the game as you are saying was correctly applied to the last play, there would have been a good :30 to 1:00 left in the game...

so what you are really saying is, it was the correct call because it was the last play of the game... OR, the refs completely fucked up the entire game EXCEPT for the last play... because i absolutely guarantee you every single other out of bounds throw had AT LEAST 1 extra second run off the clock...

take that weak ass argument somewhere else... seriously!  that is some fucked up reasoning on your part...

the fact is it was NOT the correct call... and i say that despite the fact i desperately needed that call to win a ML parlay that had Texas on it...

if the refs aren't going to put :01 back on the clock every other time that happens for an entire football season... why do it on that play?
