Northern Illinois at Toledo Under 68
A lot is at stake here tonight as NIU takes on Toledo in the Glass Bowl, in a game with huge MAC conference implications. NIU blew them out last year 65-30, but this Toledo is very good at home and have performed well in this matchup historically. Norther Illinois is a solid team with wins over solid Army and Western Michigan squads, and features the conferences top offense led by quarterback Chandler Harnish, who can make plays with his arm and his legs, leading the team in rushing. Northern Illinois has been held to under 40 points only twice this season against Wisconsin and Buffalo. Wisconsin we can let slide, but Buffalo not so much. On the other side of the ball is a Toledo defense that has given up 40 only once to Boise State, and with the total set at 67 and NIU being 8.5 point dogs, Vegas clearly expects Toledo's defense to manage NIU's offense. Because NIU's defense has been suceptible at times, I think they know they need to slow the game down and pound the ball, or let Harnish run around, try to pick up first downs and keep the clock ticking. Toledo also has two good quarterbacks, who are both capable of escaping the pocket and picking up yards on the ground. As far as the side is concerned in this game, I think that everyone still remembers Toledo's game against Ohio State where they almost won, and I think this line might be slightly inflated as a result, though they could very well cover the number. I lean to the under tonight because I think NIU will try to slow the game down and pound the rock, it is a huge rivalry and a huge conference game, so I think nerves will be a factor early on as well. I think given the high-powered nature of NIU's offense, and their status as 8.5 point dogs with a total at 67, everything points to the under in this one, and I think there are enough good reasons to make it a play. I see a 35-28 Toledo type game.

I think Toledo is probably a better squad but because it's a huge rivalry and conference game I'm not touching a side. About all you have going for you is a nice avatar. Good luck tonight man.

Has nothing to do with handling the heat. And why are you posting in all caps like a ten year old kid? I didn't go into detail about Toledo's strength of schedule because i'm not playing a side, but I did mention that the only team to hang 40 on them was Boise, so I didn't think they'd yield a lot of points, which is part of why I like the under. You may not mean to be a dick, but you have one hell of an abrasive internet demeanor, not to mention a poor handle on the English language. Not trying to start a war, but cool your fucking jets please.
