SOONERS SHOULD BE #2

Yes, I believe the Sooners are the #2 team in the country. And yes I believe they are better than KState. Top to bottom they are the better team with superior talent. Most of you read my posts the week leading up to OU vs KState. I predicted precisely what would happen. I do love this Klein kid...he's a heck of a talent. And at this point he is indeed the Heisman frontrunner and likely winner. It's just too bad the Sooner talent on the field isn't matched by the talent on the sidelines. If there is a more overrrated coach in college football today I'm not sure who that would be. Unless of course we consider the  other Stoops on the sideline. But he already got fired last year.

This week again the Sooners out talent the opposition on the field vs Notre Dame. But there is no doubt who the superior head coach will be on the sidelines. If this game comes down who makes the right strategic calls in critical moments of the game....then I have no doubt who wins this game.

I can only hope that the Sooner talent on the field overcomes in spite of the failings of the most overrated head coach in college football today and in recent memory. Strategy is certainly not Big Game Bob's middle name.

After K St. beat the okies in Norman it was then Oklahoma started playing ball. As good as K St. is if the two played again I think Oklahoma would win. I'm a gambler and don't have a dog in the fight but N.D. will face a very tough and fast team Sat. I'm probably flying to vegas to make a bet. Not big on giving 10 pts. but the line will be close to that. If I don't play ok/nd I'll bet Miss St. +26.   good luck to all........

Appreciate your comments.....And to your point it's interesting how such a talented team played so poorly that night. I'm not sure the Sooner D even had a game plan for KState. Your point makes it more evident that there was no mgmt on the sideline and that BGB did little or nothing to prepare the team for the game.

Now that some panic has set in the players seem to be taking it upon themselves to step it up. Hell.....I could probably coach this team and just play recorded Switzer half-time speeches to fire em up.

Everything you say and do tries to make sooner fans look stupid!!! you have to be an OSU fan!!! What OU fan would claim OU #2 when there are 5 undefeated teams??? NONE

Now, there has to be certain rules to this. A team that has never been to a bowl game beats a (then) top 10 team? Print those T-shirts. A FCS team beating one of the most historic programs in the sport? Go nuts. Bowl games, championships -- all fair game.

But not a win like this, Kansas State.
