Long time lurker first time poster. Can't figure out why so much love for the Ducks in this forum. Is it a conference thing or a bad matchup for TT? Texas Tech has the third best offense and third best defense in the country. Only loss on the year was on the road at ASU without their starting quarterback. Every game they won was by an average of 30 points. I understand Oregon played against better competition but I think TT rolls here by double digits

TTU has by played the weakest schedule of any of the P4 conference teams (#68) and haven't played a top 10 team all year. The best team they played all season was a plodding BYU team with an average offense. The Ducks have played the much tougher schedule. Plus Oregon has been there before, TTU hasn't.

I guess we'll see how it comes out in a few hours. Besides +2 and +2.5 I'm playing alt lines -6.5 +150 and -9.5 +334. This is like arguing law and we'll see how the jury comes back with the verdict.

I think it will be a great game since TTU is pretty sound defensively. Oregon is very creative on offense, which makes this an interesting matchup. I lean the over in this game if TTU can keep Morton upright. But the sharps seem to disagree since the total has gone down.

Texas Tech is a "newcomer" a relatively unknown football product compared to Oregon at least nationally speaking. Can't control who you play but that doesn't say who you are regardless (see Miami/Ohio State). Talent, execution, coaching inevitably decides the winner. But if you have a good eye for football and you've seen the participants, you'll know Texas Tech is the real deal. Doesn't mean they're going to win but they have just as good a chance as Oregon. After watching the Red Raiders dismantle Utah much earlier in the season on the road no less, I played a future on them to win it all, +2500. If both teams play their best game today, Red Raiders will be advancing IMO. Good luck and go TT!

@CkMate TT's last 9 Wednesday gave up an average of nine points. Again, third best defense in the entire country
In this matchup..Its about recent road "pure points" win margin vs both teams AOPR (Ave Opp Power Rating)
ie, Ducks played an AOPR of 79.5 in their recent 4 game road series. +8.5 pure pts pg win margin vs that AOPR
Tech 75.5 AOPR in their 4 (away),.. +22 pure pts per game win margin vs that AOPR
Its not in a cappers best interest to use an overall season " tougher schedule" lingo when capping this game, or "they been there before" Ducks had a hard time with @Iowa defense, who did Iowa play overall.. Nebraska, Mich St Wis,Rutgers Umass, Minn, ..not a murderers row of tough teams.
In fact, if it wasnt for a safety and a fumble miscue by Iowa in that game..Oregon would have walked out of that venue with a loss
Its not about who played the tougher schedule..its about the margin of victory vs that schedule...or AOPR and defense, which Texas Tech +17 TO ratio.. carries into this game, better than Oregons. The eye test has shown me through out the season, that Moore struggles against good defenses, he will struggle with this on
..just my two cents

Correct. I'll bet the futures on Tech too.
