nebraska stopping a running qb is a mess that it def true but id be stunned if nebraska doesn't get to 24 or so here.  The question really will be can miller throw still?  I mean assuming he gets his 20 carries for 100-150 yds and 2 tds but what can he do in the air.  Good god think if he doesn't go off running as usual (as a husker fan that makes me way to excited yet extremely unlikey) what will this game look like.  I live in columbus ohio so i see all of both of there games and neb has the far superior RB's/WR's.  I don't think OSU could of had a better match up for there d last week with no real threat of anything besides Bell, believe me nebraska will throw a lot at that defense to defend come saturday and i just don't really think osu has a very good def.  This game to me will likely go one of 2 ways.
    1. Miller goes off and has a career day and Neb has 3 or 4 turnovers 35-20 OSU

    OR

    2. Miller gets his rushing yds and still can't throw.  nebraska's offense makes plays and takes it home 31-27.

OR the huge the homer in me hoping we somehow hold miller under 100 rushing and don't turn the ball over....then we roll here 34-13. (still honestly not a big believer in osu's offense)

Love to hear some thoughts here, I'm going to the game and won't bet on it as i think Neb is way to unpredictable and i am not going to bet OSU as i don't see them as a slam dunk here and wanna root for my team!

I kind of think Nebraska wins a close one 28-24.

Or wait, I think miller will run all over nebraska and ohio st wins 33-21

Or actually i could see nebraska putting it all together and winning 31-17

lol i was just messin....if i had to pick i'd take the +5....i think nebraska will have a hard time stopping the run, but i think the husker offense will be competent enough to keep them in the game with a good chance to end up stealing the game

I really don't like nebraskas defense against teams that can run the ball effectively...especially running qbs so think it will be higher scoring.  Most likely it will come down to whether taylor martinez can limit the turnovers

My bad...just seen the spread is down to 3 pts....i hadn't looked at it since yesterday.  At 3 pts i kinda think the value in nebraska is gone and i'd rather bet on a different game

Ohio State will shut Nebraska down. The -5 is a gift at home for Ohio State vs Nebraska who doesn't play well on the road vs elites.

So due to being on tv there going to play sky-high like oregon?  I think OSU could very will win and cover but that logic is pretty faulty.  Living here is pretty laughable everyone seems to think since they have urban meyer they are entitled to national titles because he won 2 with florida.  No doubt he is a good coach but i don't see him being worth 2 tds every game. and anyone who thinks OSU is elite this year is on crack.  They and Nebraska to that list appear to be the definition of a team who can play with anyone outside the top 5 but belong ranked in the 10-25 range realistically.

Probably gonna take the approach of double up and just be pumped to be at the game but I don't see much in this OSU team outside of Miller, in my opinion Neb has much more upside potential.

I see a lot of points in this one. Somewhere around 63. Wouldn't surprise me if Ohio St. had some revenge from thier loss at Nebraska last year after being up 27 - 6 last year and blowing it. Nebraska's D does typically struggle against dual threat QB's. The D line for Nebraska is very questionable in my oppinion they are pretty slow so Miller could be running all day. Another thing to look at would be ball security Nebraska has a fumbling problem so turnovers could be the key to the game.

I am already on Ohio St. -3 and will probably be on the Over once I get a number.

This game could go either way, and if you ask me, both teams are pretty identical.  Athletic QB's, who aren't polished passers & wildly inconsistent, have "ok" talent around them & defenses that are bit suspect.  I too have watched both teams in many of their games.  These teams pretty much mirror each other.  It will probably boil down to what most games do when teams are this close in talent; a key turnover/special teams play.

The best game plan vs both of these teams (and Michigan for that matter) is to get them behind the chains on 1st down.  Even if they get 4 or 5 yards on second down, that puts them in a 3rd & medium.  That is when you stack the box and make these Qbs throw.. .. Both Miller & Tmac are athletic & fast but cant pass the ball with any consistency.

I would be really shocked if it is a blow out either way, and can see it mimic the Wisconsin/Nebraska & MSU/OSU games from last week.  Given that it's at OSU, I guess you take OSU?  But wouldn't be suprised at all if Nebraska wins.

imo, if you want almost the same spread, take Michigan -3 v Purdue.  That's the pick.

Nebraska has the better offense in this game. And their defense is statistically the same against just as good of competetion.

Im on the buckeyes. the black shirts aren't the black shirts anymore and i see miller controlling the game with his legs and arm and that will keep martinez off the field. i give the defensive edge to the buckeyes as well. could definitely see martinez with 2 or 3 turnovers here. BOL
