Lane Kiffin has been building an SEC big brother beater for 4 years now and I think he has a contender. The trenches are big and strong and I see the Ole Miss Defensive line wrecking the game for the Kentucky offense. The Kentucky Defense is good and they will fight and keep the game tight for a bit but Sr QB Jaxson Dart will connect and find the holes in this Defense. The Ole Miss O line and Jaxson Dart will be the difference and the Kentucky D will punch out in the 2nd half.
37 - 13
Good Luck.

I might be the biggest new fan of Ole Miss, 2-0 this season (1-0 threads) and I took them to cut down the nets after week 2, +1300. I know Kentucky is a step up from whom they've played so far but let's not forget what the nucleus of this Ole Miss team did to the top defensive ypg team in the country in the Fiesta Bowl last year, Penn. St., winning 38-25 as a 6 point dog and accumulating a resounding 540 yards of offense. They just look like a team on a mission on both sides of the ball and don't see Kentucky keeping up with Dart and the very talented receivers for the Rebs. Let's get it Lucky!

How good is ole miss ? Better than Georgia? Because Kentucky hold Georgia to the minimum. The last two meetings between them ole miss didn’t even covered more than 7 points so -17.5 is ? Maybe not.

Ole Miss is as good as anyone in college football. Will they go undefeated, probably not because playing 8 s.e.c. teams are brutal. I think that no team will go undefeated in the S.E.C. I fully expect Ole Miss to pull away in the 4th quarter and cover against a tough KY. team.

Tough to find a weakness on this Ole Miss team and I think they open up conference play at home with a bang. Coach Kiffin continues to improve his roster especially on defense. The time is now with the SR experienced QB Dart. I can see them make a deep playoff run.

They last played in 2022 and 2020 so not sure of the relevance of your comment. But since you brought it up Ole Miss beat Kentucky in 2022 when Kentucky had some QB named Levis who's now in the NFL. Ole Miss plays defense now, really the biggest difference in this team vs teams from years past. That's why they play the game though.

Offensively they are better than Georgia. the dogs miss bowers and Mckonkey. I do not see anybody stepping up and making plays on offense for Georgia. Give me ole miss QB Dart over Beck all day. Dart is tough as nails, stands tall in pocket in the face of pressure or gets out and puts his head down to get a 1st. He just needs to stay healthy. Defensively, I need to see it play shut down vs the big boys but Ole Miss has really improved. The good thing is The Kentucky O line and offense has not looked good.

I think the schedule sets up nice for Ole Miss playing Kentucky, South Carolina, Oklahoma and then Georgia. Physical Defenses that will help prepare them for Big Brother.

I been watching a lot of ole miss football this season and last week they didn’t cover -40. I really doubt they will cover-17.5 against a good defensive Kentucky team. Kentucky is not bad against sec teams when they are dogs.

so what they still have 8 straight games against S.E.C. foes. Georgia could very easily have lost to Kentucky. No matter who you play in the s.e.c. you must still bring your A-game each week or you will get beat.

Maybe this Ole Miss bet hits….but follow at your own risk people….these guys talking up Ole Miss could be quite wrong…they have played absolutely nobody, Ole Miss stadium will be dead with an 11am start time, UK and Ole Miss usually play close games…not so fast my friend…find other games sheep!

Wrong…UGA overlooked Uk like they do a mediocre to bad team every season…they always win the game but they crap the bed once a year to a team they don’t respect…UGA doesn’t bring their A game and they still win against the sisters of poor like Uk…if Ole Miss and Mizzou don’t make playoffs this year….those programs never will..book that…not only are they reasonably good, they have the easiest schedules possible for Sec purposes…no excuses for those two programs this season

We don't know how good Ole Miss is but they have definite 4-5 Star pedigree and returning players.....Kentucky will not be a great measuring stick, except for their offense. Versus Vandagriff is not a QB to rate how good your defense is
I am an Ole Miss fan for sure but they have not played anyone yet and this is their first game vs a top 40 or 50 team. Covering their spread and the UNDER is likely but its a watch game or UNDER for me. I don't see Kentucky getting more than 13 and 35-40 for Ole Miss is likely.
i tell you though.... if Kiffin has a chance here for style points, he just might in the 2nd half with Georgia potentially losing to Alabama and it makes their win over Wildcats look even that much better!! Just thought of this .
That means Ole Miss is THE side play here.... if you want a solid angle to hang your hat on
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

I see your point but there is no such thing as style points vs Kentucky…people would just roll their eyes at Kiffin as usual…but it could pay dividends for the ole pocket book if he did!

I took ole miss on their first three games and against them last game. I posted it all here. I really don’t think they will cover-15.5 today because Kentucky is up for this game and they are under dogs. I doubt that ole miss will cover.

History will repeats itself. Their last two meetings ole miss couldn’t win more than 7 points then why today that they will win more than 3 scores? Kentucky was holding Georgia to their lowest points ever.
