I find it funny how people think these teams play for the bettors/the creators of football fundamentals in these all for nothing games.
Do any of you take into consideration just how ridiculous a BOWL game can be?
Do any of you know what the schools get for winning/losing?
Who's playing, who's not playing?
It changes the whole landscape of the game and what you do in situations like that. These teams play for the straight up win in these no name bowl games in the shortest amount of time to preserve the health and future of its players.
You're crazy if you think you're going to get normal play in a lot of these games. All analytics go out the window.

Well, those two last drives by Nevada with under 5 minutes left in the game were emblematic of the whammy in full effect. Both times we get a 1st and goal. We score a TD in either possession, and we get the OVER. One is botched from a turnover from a puzzling and ill advised trick play. The other dies with 4 straight incompletions. Unreal. You just can't make these things up. Oh well, it is what it is. We move onto the next opportunity.
Anyway, we halt the winning streak at one. Time to start another one. Thanks for the effort. Let's win the next play. Good luck!
