Leach asks for no quarter and gives none.

When Nebraska used to roll into Lubbock and pound TTU, Leach never complained about it.

Then in 2004, the tables turned and Leach laid 70 on Nebraska.  I remember the whining from Lincoln about Leach running up the score. Poor babies.

When a program that has been down like WSU gets the chance to pour it on, I say more power to 'em.

Great thread.  From Petrino cussing out Leech to sermons from JDN about Jesus.  Saint Francis of the Cashier's Window.

What a way to start the day.

People who are atheists are lost and confused. Not wanting to believe anything about life after you're stint here on earth.

Imagine if life on earth was all there was. 100 years on earth and then, that it.

People who are atheists often create themselves as a God in their own mind. They do whatever they want. They get as much as they can. Do whatever they can to Elevate their own self image.

I'll stop talking. But seriously. If God doesn't exist, how were you and I created? Apes? Did we come from apes?

And how are the laws of physics defied by the moons on other planets?

And LAMININ. explain LAMININ to me please.

BOL to you in gambling and life.

idc what people believe either way. But this is stupid. Laminin is a reason you believe in God? Laminin that accelerates breast cancer and has a role in other cancers is why you believe in God? Well i don't like that God.

Religion in here? Wow, not something I expected to see

Leach is great, he's an above average coach & I love that he doesn't give a fukk what anyone thinks

He doesn't complain when others bury his team, never has

Imagine if life on earth was all there was. 100 years on earth and then, that it.

People who are atheists often create themselves as a God in their own mind. They do whatever they want. They get as much as they can. Do whatever they can to Elevate their own self image.

I'll stop talking. But seriously. If God doesn't exist, how were you and I created? Apes? Did we come from apes?

And how are the laws of physics defied by the moons on other planets?

And LAMININ. explain LAMININ to me please.

BOL to you in gambling and life.

You should be embarrassed about that comment.

    That is all.

That's why I like the The Buddha instead. Plus, he had the disciples first. Jesus just stole that idea from him.

    Existence is weird.

There appears to be a kind of free will to make a decision, to act out within the world. But in the extremely long history and continuance of the universe all these actions are relatively miniscule and ultimately meaningless. I can use free will to do all sorts of terrible things, and these are all things I can do. When I bet on a losing team, I did that to myself, including the game  itself could be played within my vision of it as an event. The different wavelengths of energies (including our own lives) are played out within these particles we share with everything around us (our bodies are the same constituent parts as ocean water). The idea of a "loving father" who sacrificed his own son to pay for our sins" is not commensurate with what we know about the universe, and how the universe is unfolding. It will take more time, but eventually mankind will see that these religions are man-made, hoaxes used to control the passions of the masses, and so on. There have been countless atrocities committed in the name of these three 'book religions' (islam, jewish, Christianity) that it may have to come to a point where they will need to be aggressively attacked to save mankind from himself. For now, we have to let fools and knaves be fools, until they realize their foolishness--has to play itself out.

...I do want to add that church services can be a good thing. They are good for feeling grateful, for listening to calming spiritual music, for handshakes and exchanging pleasantries and dressing up in fancy dress and sharing potlucks and so on...Religion should limit itself to that, and not make further promises beyond that. Noone can wish or pray for something to happen and have it take place as a result of prayer. Cancer, divorce, death, are all gonna happen regardless.

Power does not exist thru tithing and prayer. Power appears to be accessible in different wavelengths to anyone who approaches the universe on its own terms. As the ninjas used to say: Use nature; be nature, follow nature. There might be something to that.

Alabama is #1 but Alabama needs a lot of cruddy teams (lesser teams) to exist. It needs them. We need to see a lot of cruddy QBs to see that Johnny Manzeil is a great one. We have to lose bets and have a possibility of losing before we bet and win. THINK ABOUT IT.

Power - the ability to do something or act in a particular way

In many cases tithing and prayer are done because there exists a feeling of gratefulness... and not a result of robotic discipline...
