29-7 ncaa bowls


what's up all????? It all comes down to this, and no more college football.  damn shame but hey, if it never rained, you wouldn't appreciate the sunshine right!!??!!  let's go to work!  both of these defenses are insane, lsu more attacking, bama more suffocating.  i think bama moved the ball sufficiently in the first game, they just couldn't score, why? b/c their special teams flat out sucked in that game and lsu's is top notch. but let's look at a few plays that alabama was able to rip off against lsu - bama did outgain lsu by 56 yds in the first game and facts are facts, lsu needed a missed fg, blocked fg, jump ball int at the goal line and another missed fg to get it done.  On their four first-half drives against the Bayou Bengals, Alabama ran 35 plays for 181 yards (5.2 per play). They drove to the LSU 27, 33, 31 and 17 and improbably produced only three points from these four drives. bama can move the ball on lsu, as evident from game 1 - lsu will run all 900 of their backs at bama and try to get jefferson on the edges, just my gut feel for whatever reason is that i don't trust jefferson.  mccaron i think will be improved since the last meeting and richardson will be the best offensive player on the field.  #2 favored over #1, playing in #1's house, $ in on #1, and bama has heard quite a bit about how they really shouldn't be there and oklahoma st should.  I think they get it done.

good luck everyone.  it's been a great bowl season, certainly my best ever and hope i can find success like this again.  I will either end up hitting 78% or 81% for the bowls pending the result tonight.

I think you're right Mr. Sports man!!!!....Have thoroughly enjoyed all of your posts AND selections....That's quite a run....80 % IS UNHEARD OF, BUT YOU DID IT....I wish you all the best and will look for your NFL selections later on....You "KNOW" there is still another shocker or 2 left there!....Eh?

goo - i can see this ending up a 1 point game in all honesty.  that being said, I think bama wins so i probably would take it under 3, but hopefully you would be getting at least even or + money at 2.5?
