what a close call, I almost lost my ass on the late night degenerate special, but once again, the bows prevail

nice job of capping that one Hawaii backers :

-Bows commit 13 penalties for 144 yards
-lose TOP battle 39 min to 21 min
-outgain the Aggies by only 35 yards
-only net +1 turnovers
-get out-first downed 29-26

-probably the first time in history that a team who held the ball for more than 38 minutes has lost a game by more than 30

keep laying 4+ TDs as I guarantee that if you had a game go like this again that it would be within 10 points with these type of stats - good for your sake NMSU is just that bad and couldn't finish off drives...just hope you can all acknowledge your good fortune in this one and admit this was lucky as fuck... and a pick-6 at the end to boot to cover the 30.5 adsurdity!

Maybe there are times to admit you just made a bad play, there were many reasons to either stay away from this game completely or at the very least lean Hawaii.

If you watched this game (which you probably didn't) you would know Hawaii dominated it. So they had a lot of penalties, a good chunk were dumb penalties by second teamers, and some were pretty bad calls.

Hawaii may have given up yardage but they caused 3 turnovers, one which went for a TD, they stopped NMSU multiple times on fourth down. You aren't going to stop a team like that completely but you can slow them down and find ways to make them cause mistakes.

TOP is a ridulous stat to bring up, Hawaii passes the ball like crazy  of course they are going to lose the TOP battle, they do almost every game, thats why i also pointed out earlier that the defense is left in spots where they have to be out there for long periods of time, hence the yardage stats are misleading.

But hey if it makes you feel better to think the defense is a creampuff, and that it's more about the other teams then Hawaii then good luck to you, enjoy watching ESPN livetracker rather than the actual game, and hopefully you won't lose too much cash.


We do agree on a few points though, sometimes hawaii's lines are inflated i said myself tonight i woud have played anything under 28 but above that i'd stay away, and i did only playing a teaser with hawaii -20 and two others which won. And i will also agree with you that the int for a TD was pretty gross, but if that didn't happen and they missed the cover by a point don't you think there would be people on the other side bitching about the two missed PATs? complaining is a never ending drink my friend.
