Love Utah St here bro .. AF coming off 2 upsets and Utah St ..
In the Boise St win ... Boise St turned it over 7 times !!!
Navy game .. 2 more Turnovers helped AF win vs a Navy team that has not looked that good lately ..imo
Both wins were at home .. They beat Ga St on the road .. who doesn't .. and they lost to Wyoming on the road who I believe is a step down from Utah St ..
Utah st with the help of turnovers won by 15 at BYU but they had a 6.4 yards per plays which is very good against a BYU D which is much better than AF .. Byu gives up 4.9 to AF 5.9 yards per play !!
Utah St is beatable threw the air 76 vs the Pass but AF only throws the ball 26 % of the time ..
Utah St is 3rd in the Country 2.5 yards per carry vs the Run and AF runs the Ball 60 % of the time ..
Teams which AF beat the Last 2 ... vs the Run .. Boise St 3.2 yards per carry ..very respectable .. but Boise turned it over 7 times !! Af did run the ball decent vs Boise St 4.8 ypc . but they only had 48 yards throwing the ball ?? Then they beat Navy who is 87th in the Country vs the run giving up 4.7 ypc and they had 2 turnovers as well which helped the AF ..
The line started at Utah St -8 went to -9 and now they are -7 ..

Congrats on you Utah State win, but this was one of those games where a lot of uncappable things occurred. Air Force fumbled the ball away on their first two possessions - the second one at the Utah State 5 yard line as they were about to score.
Then, in the second quarter, Air Force's starting QB Kale Pearson was injured and went out for the game. Nate Romine then entered the game and proceeded to throw two interceptions before the half.
Utah State hit a 75-yard bomb on the first play of the game. That was their only "drive" (if that's want you want to call it) of more than 50 yards in the entire game.
So while I made some bad plays today, I don't really think Air Force was one of them. I think with a little better luck, this game could have easily gone the other way.

I watched the whole game, and I don't think it was a horrible pick at all. I would take MNST +7 @ Troy again tomorrow. The only thing I might re-think is whether I would bet 5 units on it.
My main concern going in this game was Troy playing way over their heads in the wake of Larry Blakeney's retirement announcement, and that's pretty much what happened here (See Post #35).
Moreover, when you turn the ball over 4 times and give up a kickoff return for a touchdown on the road, things can get on of hand in a hurry. But despite all the miscues, NMST was one score away from covering almost the entire game. It wasn't until Troy hit a long pass play with about 4 minutes left in the game, that the cover was put out of reach.

Just another note on that game also. Going into this game NMex St was the only team in the country that had not allowed a sack this year playing 7 games and thrown 242 passes yet they gave up 4 sacks to Troy...........

Anytime you play a game 1000 different times using every scenario, at every skill set, your going to get some very valuable information.
