*** Freak Pics!!! *** (Week 3)

My Week 2 struggles continue to haunt me. I went 6 & 7 on regular plays, 0 & 2 on UDML, and 1 & 2 on "Best Bets" Despite the Week 2 carnage, I still had a chance to squeak out a small profit had Texas Tech won, but it was not to be.

Overall I am now 18 & 11 on regular plays (62.1 %), 4 & 3 (57.1%) Best Bets - which is really bad for me - and 0 & 2 on UDML plays.

At least I did hit my top play of South Florida, but missed badly on my #2 play in South Carolina.  Also, I'm now 4 & 0 on Alabama game wagers, and I feel very confident I'll be 5 & 0 after this week.  That's because Alabama -10.5 is my top play of the week.

I predicted in my week one thread that no one on Alabama's schedule will score 20 points on their defense this season.  That prediction will get tested this week, but I think it will live to see another day.

Ole Miss comes into this game very banged up, and razor thin from a personnel standpoint.  For that reason I will almost certainly be on Alabama 2nd half again.  I think the final score in this one will look very similar to the Western Kentucky game.  I'll call it 38-17 Alabama.

It wanted to get this out there early!

I don't really don't know how to put this gently, but if you run around in threads criticizing posters for a losing play after the fact, then you really aren't cut out for this gambling business.  This is a heartless, ruthless business, and it's not for everyone.  Only the strong survive.  So if you're someone who fits the description above, you may want to take up ballroom dancing or something.  As it is, you're in the wrong place.

Like with anything, when you win you're the king, when you lose you bear the brunt.  Money changes things, and when people lose they want someone to blame other than themselves.  You have nothing to prove to anyone here.  Keep doing your thing and anyone who has been here long enough will know more often you'll be having Green Day's.  Appreciate your picks.  Good luck this week!

.    Spot on...I think Houston blows out Cindy Tuberculosis who have a good offense.Ive already layed -130-6.5...I think Cindy will keep it respectable until mid 3rd qtr then it could get ugly.Your thoughts on this game boss.

Good Luck each and every week Freak.  As you likely have once said, remember this is a 'marathon not a sprint'.  Bumps in the road will happen.  The trolls can 'eat garbage and die'. 

Also believe there is no way Mississippi does anything with Alabama for a 3rd year in a row.  Thanks for the early week pick and all the insight you give.

JDF those type of people are clowns man, they are the ones who jump in and tail on random weeks and praise you if it's a good week and talk crap if it's a bad week....All serious gamblers know there will be good weeks and bad weeks...I had a bad week as well myself, but I am working on my week 3 picks now and I'm sure I'll bounce back just like you will then they'll all be praising you again lol....Just keep doing your thing man.

The people who post the crap are usually crying because they tailed and lost. They can't cap (which is okay if you don't cry about losing) so they blindly tail. Then whine like babies. Then you have the jokers who just plain and simply get off on it. They have their sad little lives and this gives them an outlet to be aholes hiding behind their keyboards.
