You make a great point. Last week, after posting my Air Force/Neveda play, I fully intended to come back and elevate that play to "Best Bet" status, but then never got around to doing it. I have seriously considered making Eastern Michigan a "Best Bet" as well. What makes me a little hesitant is that the line I played +10 1st half (the line was +17.5 at the time) is no longer available. Me making a play a "Best Bet" at a line that is no longer available quite frankly doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I do consider this play a "Best Bet", but in order not to be shady about it, I would really need to re-post it a the prevailing line. You see where I'm coming from???

Hey good stuff Jimmy long time follower 1st post here. What do you think the line will do from here at -8 ?? Will it back up or continue to drop? Not sure if I should wait or hit the -8

I agree 100% Yacker. I posted a more extensive write-up about this on another site.
Correct Ohio has played the 4 weakest teams in the conference. They lost one, and had a very difficult time beating the other 3. Eastern Michigan, on the other hand, has played 4 of the best 5 teams on the MAC. I think Eastern Michigan will be the best MAC team Ohio has faced all season.

I definitely think it drops. I bet as much as I could on it when it opened at 7. Not sure if it was my bet that did it, but the line immediately bumped up after I placed the bet. Nevertheless, LSU is a huge public dog this week, and I expect the line to fall more as touts (masquerading as sharps) force feed LSU down their clients throats.

I was going to say, Bookmaker still has EMU @ +500 for the game. BM doesnt' offer a 1st half ML, but I think that is a much better bet than the game ML if you can get it.

I don't think EMU ML is a good bet. OHIO is at home after a brutal loss to Miami ohio. They will win this game but covering not sure cause they haven't cover the spread at all.
I really like the under 1st half western kentucky. They got defense this year. going play this one with you.

I've been looking at this VTech Mia matchup all week and for the life of me, I just can't seem to get a grasp on either team. I'm with you on the no play there too.
Bama to the bank this week 
and this is coming from a huge LSU fan. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your plays this week. Something's telling me the Bama/LSU game will occupy more than just one play on your best bets/ max bets card this week

I agree with what you are saying, and that's exactly why I hesitated to play it. My predicted score for this game is Ohio 31 and ECU 27 so I do think Ohio pulls this out. This reason why I pulled the trigger on the ML is rooted in my belief that ECU is the best MAC team Ohio has faced all season, and Ohio struggled in all 4 of their other conference games. That makes me think ECU has a legitimate shot here. Couple that with the value of a 5 to 1 payout and I just had to pull the trigger. Just too good to pass up IMO.

Why ask? What if his max bet is $500 but the guy lives paycheck to paycheck? Or what if it's $5000 but he's a multi-millionnaire? Knowing a max bet without knowing his net worth is deceptive. And asking anyone their net worth is rude.
