A lot going on in this Public Florida St spot for me. The inner sharp in me had to stop myself from betting Louisville so fast.
Florida St coming off a spectacular Sunday night thriller in front of the whole football world.
A couple key notes from the win that stands out to me is that Jordan Travis has learned to not only extend plays but to finish them strong. All night LSU was screaming in the FSU backfield, only for Travis to escape cleanly. Another thing that stood out was how the FSU secondary were able to take away Jayden Daniels first read most of the game. Some may say “Oh it’s just Jayden Daniels, FSU still sucks on defense”, but the film doesn’t lie. FSU Dbacks didn’t give LSU receivers any room to breathe. Boutte was crying all night.
How the hell is this Louisville One dimensional offense going to drive down the field. Malik Cunningham is a one man show, his only read against Central Florida was scrambling lol. Central Florida didn’t want to win that game.
FSU limited Noah Cain to just 23 yards but Jayden picked up a whomping 114 yards. That does scare me a bit because Malik Cunningham strength is scrambling out the pocket for various gains. The rest advantage plays key to this because FSU is coming off a bye week as well. This gives nothing but time for FSU to prepare for the expected Malik runs.
FSU had 34 mins in Possession against LSU, that’s telling me a lot …. Louisville still showing signs of not being able to contain the run. I’m looking for Ward and Oregon Trasnfer Benson to have a field day.
Only way I was betting Louisville was because with Malik Cunningham being a senior you expect him to win these types of games, especially Friday Night matchups. But this Louisville team has to many holes. Situational betting is not in effect with a bad team.

Ville ...1st 2 games on the road....I expect them to play really well at home and come out motivated... I like them 1st half...GL Toddy
Hmmmm I see your view. But FSU was able to play in a inferior road environment and come out victorious. FSU being down for the last 3 years gives momentum for them as well.
Let’s see what happens Brodie

Now here's the truest thing you've said in the post. Whichever team having variance in their favor will take the cheese tonight. It's that close of a match-up, the kind the books love because it is essentially a coin flip.
