Hey bud sorry its taken me a while to reply. Been busy with Christmas.
As for me being on Cuse, there were several reasons and Ill try and recall them. Yes, one reason was a new QB. Who knows how he will do, but he has to cover a large spread in his first time as the full-time QB. If he covered the 25, then he just beats me. Another reason (and again forgive me if my memory is sketchy) is the Clemson defense had played 3 teams up to that point with the triple option and only one team with a viable QB that could exploit the secondary (Mond); I thought Dungy was capable of being the second. I thought Cuse would score 21+ points so if a freshman QB in his first game full time could score 46+, then so be it.
To touch on LoveCFB1's question in regards to Wis tomorrow being my largest bet, without getting into the x's and o's (which I think favor Wis), ill remind you of the Miami vs Boston College game. I watched this game as I had BC +5 (or something in that area) and, I'm not sure if you watched or not, but when cameras were on the Miami sideline, these guys were all huddled up at the heater.....it was 37 degrees. No one on the BC sideline was near the heater. Tomorrow in NYC, it should be around 39 degrees and while Miami has been decent at home, they haven't fared so well away from their warm-weather stadium; I expect more of the same here. Perhaps the sharps agree as I have them +4 and +165 ML whereas now its +2.5 and +120ish.
Going back to you, Boom, Jimmydafreaks favorite play of the bowl system is Clemson minus the points. Says hes worried about a backdoor cover but Clemson will win and should win convincingly. Also says Bama game over and Bama TTo are his favorite plays more so than Bama minus the points. Just FYI.
Also, are you heading to Dallas by the way? Wasnt planning on going to Miami if we went to the Orange bowl, but have never taken in a game at Jerry-World so looking forward to the experience. Really caught a bad break with the cancellation of the BC game... BC was on the verge on killing those guys...not to mention it was a BIG play for me.
Lost the other 2 games.... not surprised. GT and Paul Johnson have been a torn for me for many years, I was trying to give them one last shot in his final game.... Oh well.
Lastly, the shiit show between CAL and TCU. I stated before I could very well be wrong in taking the over....I will never bet a under in the college game that low. My goodness that was the worst college football game ever played. EVER....in the history of EVER. 9 ints..... probably should have been 16 or maybe 17. I know the Cal qb's actually threw one more then that moron at qb for TCU.... but that was because TCU and Gary Patterson said fuk it... we gonna run the ball and not let this idiot attempt another pass. That idiot for TCU with 1 minute left in the game had 4 int and 8 yards passing....
