I know a good way to get a good defense. Just join the SEC. Ask Texas A&M. Their defense actually looks good against the SEC horrendous offenses. Put any Big 12 school in the SEC and wham their defense becomes great over night.

I am so tired of hearing about South Carolina. What a joke!!! Every year the SEC is slobbering over how good S. Carolina is and every year they lose multiple games. Then they follow up with an ass beating in a bowl game agains Iowa or Connecticut or whomever. Pleae South Carolina come to the BIG 12 so you can get your ass handed to you and finish at the bottom of the pack.

It is not necessarily that the Big 12 plays bad defense as it is they have over powering offenses. For example:
Texas A&M gave up 20 and 24 points to Fla and LSU respectively; however gave up 57 to La Tech. The theory is that A&M's defense is not good, but Florida and LSU offense is boring and predictable. La Tech spread A&M out and scored at will. I no La. Tech is not a Big 12 team but run a similar offensive scheme.
I do not buy the fact the SEC has better defenses. Just much easier to defend the offensive schemes in the SEC.

tideman....good point, the SEC sure lines up the nonconference games that make it eay to see who is best!!! I am pissed that we waste 4 weeks of football and have to have the "eye test" to determine the national championship teams, thats awesome!! If your bama!!!

well they were up by 17 at half....the womens Bball coach died in a plane crash the day before, i think the game should have been suspended....they didnt get in because Pinkel and Saban ranked them #5....Bama lost at home.....I fucking hate OSU...i never have laughed so hard in my life that they didnt make it.....i just dont think previous years should matter......the only time the SEC plays a somebody is in the Bowls.....In my mind the fans are cheated out of 4 weeks or (1/4th) of the NCAAF season....My thought on the matter is......previous years shouldnt matter and they should have the ACC, SEC, PAC 12, BIG 12, BIG EAST AND C-USA IN one Division and the rest in another division!!Just my opinion, im sure SEC fans cringe at the thought of not playing kent st, and western kentucky!!!
