Why are dog fans so upset at BAMA? Should uga be in the top 10? Who have they beat? I`m tired of hearing about all the injuries they had, its part of the game, Bama kicked their ass on that night, they need to accept it.  I agree bama hasn`t beaten anybody real good this yr because clemson and uga are average. It`s only week 7, alot of ball left to be played. last yr uga did get screwed in the polls, should have played for a national championship;but can`t do anything about it now. It`s goin to be messed up till they get a playoff system bottom line!Just quit cryin and makin excusses take your loss like a man!

Did you look at USC? Beaten by a nonranked opponent as #1, a position that was gift-wrapped to them, as 25pt favorite. They were beaten by one, little man. They played no on else, that will be ranked by the time they get to them.

The fact that Florida raped LSU, is a testament on how they will finished the season. No one in the country, will slow them down, at least not their offense. When Tebow made that speech after the Ole Miss loss, I watched and listened to his words, word for word, and believe that he can back it up. It was in the 4th quarter of the Arkansas game, where I knew they were going to give LSU a rude-awakening, and so will everyone else on their schedule.

Mark my words, they will be in THE GAME.

u couldnt be more correct...that lineman doesnt get hurdled on that extra point attempt, the game goes to OT and florida pulls it out and they would be sitting at #1. i sure hope u r right about THE GAME.

USC would be a TD faves against FLA.. but it doesnt matter b/c FLA will lose @ Georgia anyways...

well first off, with all this overated talk im suprised that ohio state hasnt come up. they are overated as anyone. and u r totally right, usc would be laying 7 to florida in the championship game....and florida would stick it to them just like they did to a weak ass ohio state team 2 years ago. get off of usc's nuts please....its just getting rediculas.

KingQuais - I watched the Georgia-Alabama game and Alabama was kicking their ass on their home field until Georgia got some garbage scores in the second half. And Georgia should've easily covered at home against Tennessee because the Vols suck. They frickin lost to UCLA and almost got beat by Northern Illinois. If they can't beat Tennessee by at least 2 touchdowns they are garbage. I honestly don't even think Alabama is that great. They are a young team. Bama had a tough time at home vs Kentucky and their win over Clemson doesn't really look great anymore. Florida will kick their ass in the SEC Championship.

From what I've seen the SEC is not the best conference this year. I think the Big 12 is the best this year. I think Texas and Oklahoma can beat any team in the SEC. And then you got Missouri, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Kansas and Nebraska. All those teams would be competitive with the top teams in the SEC. And this is my non bias opinion from a Pac-10 guy.

USC's offense may have been spectacularly unimpressive against Arizona State but they still managed to shut them out. Defense wins games. End of story.

Unbelievable.  This thread is full of so many disillusioned football fans that are bringing their personal biases into consideration.  I'll come right out and say that I'm a USC fan and I'm damn proud to back them no matter what.  But to have people come on here and complain about the AP polls right now before the first BCS standings have even come out, you guys are ridiculous.

USC had a hiccup against Oregon State.  Oregon State has lost to Penn State (undefeated), Utah (undefeated) and a much improved Stanford team.  They aren't nearly as bad as people claim.

Georgia lost to a very good Alabama team and probably deserve to be ranked higher than USC.

Florida lost to mediocre Ole Miss team at home.  As someone say, does the USC loss TRUMP the Florida loss because it's on the road?

Everyone looks at losses when trying to make poll decisions when I think wins should be much more important.  Not one team in the nation has really beaten a bunch of really good teams at this point and that's cuz it's early in the season.  The SEC doesn't typically schedule tough OOC games so deciding who the best SEC team right now is pretty hard.

Personally, I think the Big-12 has the best overall conference this year.  There's so much less parity in college football these days that any given week has the opportunity for upsets and the past year and a half has shown that.

Everyone needs to chill out about the AP polls right now and worry about their team surviving the rest of the season.  It will hopefully sort itself out later.

And one final question as a USC "homer" as most of you would call me...If USC was taking on any SEC or Big 12 team on a neutral field during a bowl game, would you bet against em?  I think it would be really hard with how they historically play in big games to go against them.  Does that make them the best team?  Maybe, maybe not but I truly think USC will be in the thick of it at the end of the season.
