1* 107-108
2* 26-18
3* 3-7
4* 1-1
5* 1-0
What an evening of basketball. Auburn blowing a 14 point halftime lead, only to storm back and hit a buzzer beater...that didn't count. Kansas blowing a 8 point halftime lead, to get down 15 in the second half, to only storm back and win in OT (The Phog Ephect as its known in many circles). Texas Tech was covering the entire game until there was 2 seconds left...then hit a pointless buzzer beater 3 to cover. Kent St/Bowling Green was awesome. So was WVU/Cincy. Tonight may seem boring.
1* Army Black Knights -3.5
Coach Kuwik has these Knights playing some inspired ball of late. They have won 6 of their last 8, with the two losses being to GW and Colgate, neither considered a bad loss in my book. Their wins aren't against teams of any sort of quality, but thats ok, cause Loyola isn't any good. They have lost 6 straight, and if it wasn't for a DII and Coppin St (the worst DI team) thrown in the middle, it would be 9 straight Ls. Two teams headed in different directions.
1* Maryland Terrapins +8
Desperation spot for the Terps. They are 0-3 in conference, and losers in 6 of the last 8. Buzz needs to have his guys show up today, cause after this, they make the dreadful trip alllll the way to UCLA/USC. Tough to call the fourth game into conference season a must win, but if there was one, this would be it. IU also has only played twice on the road, losing both times. Big Ten home dog could have summed it all up though.
1* Saint Louis Billikens +3.5
The disrespect my hometown team is getting isn't going unnoticed here in town. Coach Schertz in on a local radio program weekly, and this game has been talked about for a couple weeks now. The Bills will be ready for Seigal Center, as most of this team played here last year. They have the athletes in Kellen Thames Jr and Amari McCottry to play with the Rams athletes. This will be an awesome game, that should come down to the last possession, so I'm taking the points.
1* Missouri Tigers +12.5
This is too many points for Kentucky to be laying in my opinion. Mizzou got Jayden Stone back in their last game, and they went out and beat the defending champs. He opens up the floor so much for Mark Mitchell. If they can get Stone and Mitchell on the same side of the floor, the defense has to decide if they want to double Mitchell and give up the 3, or take their chances 1v1 vs Mitchell. They will be with Jevon Porter again tonight, but they didn't have him against Florida either.
2* St. Bonaventure Bonnies -5.5
Richmond is on the second leg of a roady, in which they already have a win, so they have to feel like the trip has already been a success. But they've dropped some questionable games (@ home to Charleston Southern, @ Elon) and its cause they can't defensive rebound. 18 offensive boards for Fordham in the Spiders last game. The Bonnies get 40% of their missed shots. Thats a terrible combo if you're a Richmond backer.
