Went 7-3 and lost money.  No more unit size difference.  Everything is one unit.

1* Baylor Bears +3.5

Baylor is bad, but the spot for Cincy is worse.  They are returning from the Arizona trip, where they lost both, return to play a Baylor, and then have Houston next.  The travel, and look ahead spot is bad in itself, but add in that Cincy can't hit a jump shot and it gets real bad.  Baylor doesn't guard anyone unless its at the rim, but with the Bearcats inability to shoot, that doesn't matter. 

1* Florida St Seminoles -2.5

Cal is a LONG way from home.  The last time they came east of the Mississippi they lost by 24 to Virginia and by 3 to Va Tech.  It's just too hard to do these cross country flights, and then asked to play at a high level the next day.  Especially with the style of play Florida St brings to the table with the NBA offense of run, shoot, pretend to play D, repeat. It's exhausting in itself. 

1* Butler Bulldogs +12.5

The Johnnies are rolling in the wins, 6 straight and 8 of 9.  But they've kinda played with their food here recently, beating Xavier and Seton Hall by 5, and Nova by 7.  Butler has a very productive offense, as long as they can beat the initial pressure of the Johnnies.  Also a revenge spot from the beginning of the month when STJ went to Butler and won by 14. This game is at MSG as well, where guys that don't get to play here often, seem to have career nights.

1* Mississippi St Bulldogs +7.5

LSU isn't good enough to be favored by 7.5 over anyone in the SEC.  They have two...yes two...top 100 wins on the year, but for some reason the computers love them.  Not myself.  Mississippi St also only has two top 100 wins, but they are ranked 51 spots lower on KenPom.  I feel LSU is closer to where Miss St is.  The Dogs have lost 5 straight, and you'd expect a spirited effort off the Vandy stomping.  LSU lost at Arky by 4, probably a spirit breaker seeing that they should have probably won that game.  

1* Oakland/IUPU-FW Over 164.5

Neither team plays a lick of defense.  And both offense are above average and like to play with tempo.  They played way back on Dec 3 to a 101-92 finish, and I expect something right along those lines again.  Both teams could rather easily get to 90.

1* Charlotte/Temple Under 140.5

I don't think either team gets to 70.  Both play at a slow tempo, Charlotte extremely slow.  While both defenses make you earn everything on the offensive end.  It should be a pretty good rock fight.  Both offenses are capable, but I don't think we get enough quality possessions with Charlottes turnover problems, and Temples lack of an inside game.

1* Fordham Rams -5.5

La Salle has won two straight...the last over Dayton.  It's the programs best win since 2022, when they also defeated Dayton.  I'm sure they would have elected to not take then next week off, and carry that momentum over, but that's not the case.  Fordham on the other hand, has lost three straight, but also has had a week off to stew on that, and beat each other up in practice.  They have GW and VCU next, so they need this win in a bad way.  They get to take it all out on a team that thinks they are better than they are.  Fordham by double digits. 

1* Robert Morris/IU Indy Over 158.5

We know IU loves to press and run, and do all kinds of stupid shit all the time.  Bob Morris doesn't run, but they are extrememly efficient offensively, so I'd assuming they won't have much of an issue with scoring on what is ranked the 14th least effective defense in the country.  But they do create turnovers with their press that leads to layups. 

1* UAB Blazers -13.5

UTSA is terrible.  UAB just lost back to back games at home to the leaders of the conference.  They are going to kick the shit out of UTSA. 

1* UTEP Miners -2.5

Revenge spot from Dec. 29th, La Tech has yet to win a road gam in CUSA play.  

1* San Diego Toreros -2.5

Pepperdine can't stop a nose bleed, and really struggles to score.  The Toreros won the first go around by 20, and I think they win by double digits again. 

1* TCU Horned Frogs +7.5

In state rivals, this is too many points for a Houston team that goes through dry spells offensively.

1* Washington St Cougars -2.5

Seattle won the first matchup on their home floor and I look for Wazzu to hold serve. Seattle hasn't won on the road in conference yet.

1* UCLA Bruins -4.5

If the Ducks were ever going to turn things around, it would have happened by now.
