1* 124-124
2* 28-29
3* 7-8
4* 1-1
5* 1-0
One of these days I'll figure out how to disperse the units correctly.
1* Wofford Terriers -3.5
Samford is falling apart. Losers of 3 straight, and 4 of their last 5, they now have to hit the road against a Terrier team that just beat Furman at their place, and find themselves in the thick of things in the SoCon. The Bulldogs do a terrible job in defending the 3pt line, and that is where Wofford wants to score from if possible. The Bulldogs also don't shoot the ball well as a whole, and send no one to the offensive glass, so not a lot of opportunities for points.
1*IUPUI/Oakland Under 177.5
The tempo will be frightening, but the IU Indy offense is not. They are terrible. Oaklands defense has been getting better and better as they've had a chance to learn Kampes zone. They currently boast the 3rd best defense in conference play. Oakland will score 90+, but I don't think IU can get to 80.
1* Georgetown Hoyas +9.5
Yes the Hoyas have dropped 5 straight in conference play, but only one of them by more than this number. They just took UCONN to the buzzer, lost in OT @ Creighton, and kept it to single digits with Seton Hall. Ed Cooley is too good of a coach to not win one of these close games, and Kevin Willard is no stranger to dropping games he shouldn't. Nova also very well could be looking ahead to a trip to Stoors on Wednesday.
1* Creighton Blue Jays -7.5
The Jays won the first meeting at Xavier by 41. I don't think they win by that much again, but I do think it's double digits. Creighton has a great home court, the better coach, and better roster. Xavier is also coming off two games that they probably should have lost, so regression is expected for a not very good team.
1* Western Kentucky Hilltoppers +3 (ceasars, everyone else has 1.5)
Libertys streak of 9 straight wins comes to an end tonight. WKU is going to destroy the Flames on the glass, and get opportunity after opportunity on the offensive end. Which they will need, cause their offense isn't great. But they have an incredible home court, and they got caught looking ahead to this game, when they lost at home to Kennesaw St by double digits at home over the weekend. The line is super short and people will hammer Liberty at that number.
1* Southern Illinois Salukis +1.5
Valpo just beat Northern Iowa, and hosts league best Belmont next. Sneaky spot for Coach Nagy to bring that pressure defense in to Indiana, and come out with a victory. They've lost three straight and are in desperate need to stop the bleeding. Neither offense is going to run away and hide in this one, so the under is probably in play too at 142.5
1* Mississippi St Bulldogs +8.5
Losers of three straight, Jans needs to get the ship right, and what better time to get AM than off the Texas win. They do have Vandy next, but they are in no position to be looking past anyone at this point.
