23-26-1, -1 unit YTD after nailbiting cover by Maryland...
Getting tomorrow's late game in early tonight.
Washington State Cougars +14: It's a story of 2 shooting guards. The Cougars of course have the outstanding freshman Ace Glass who averages 16.6 PPG, highlighted by an incredible 40-point game against Arizona St at the Maui Invitational. It hasn't been a great start for Wazzou but I think led by their 'Ace' that this team will continue to improve as the season goes along. USC recently lost their first game of the season at home to Washington. They rarely blow anyone out and are in fact 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games, with some very, very lucky escapes along the way. Compounding their issues is the loss of outstanding guard Rodney Rice who has missed the last 4 games (shoulder) and will not be available again for Sunday night's game. The Maryland transfer is averaging 20.3 PPG, going for 21 or more points in 4 of the 6 games he has played. USC is by no means devoid of scoring, but not having their third-year guard is extremely impactful as we get close to the meat of the conference schedule. USC is also without another good young guard/forward in Amarion Dickerson, who transferred in from RMU and will miss his 4th straight game (hip). I think USC probably gets this done tomorrow, but they've shown an inability to pull away in their last 7 or 8 games and I think that continues. See this as an 84-78 type game in favour of the home team. 0.75 units.
