UNC/Marquette question...

Question

what is UNC going to do differently to stop marquette that they haven't done in several weeks against miami, clemson, duke, long island, and washington?

i have asked several people this question and noone can answer it.

i want to bet unc but i can't figure out how they are going to stop the 28th ranked offense when they couldn't stop or cover against the teams above.

b/c of this i am going to parlay unc with kansas and pay the -130 juice. can&#x27;t trust unc to play defense but they do find ways to win.still waiting for a good explanation though.

unc will outscore you not stop you, now unc is very young ,long and athletic kinda looks like sucker bet if u like unc you will teaz, etc.,i like unc straight up naturally,but im starting to warm up to marquette &#x2B;points and money line, something telling me big east takes a stand against these young bulls from unc comin up north

[/Quote]see sims thats what i mean even you are thinkin about ml parley w/unc and favs, you may be right ,but this is march and i see at least one of these favs losin outright tonite, i took ky and richmond &#x2B;&#x2B;&#x2B; tonite str8, but not on ml, but like i say a marquette upset is not outta question

Better to parlay them with the Bulls To answer your question....Marq had 3 good wins coming into the tourney, at home vs ND and Cuse, and @ UConn....A lot of their losses came to teams with good big men.....Duke,GTown,St Johns, Vandy,Pitt.....UNC only lost 7 games, and only one was a horrible loss (@ GT). Of course UNC had problems with Duke,Miami, and Clemson....they played Maimi twice and Clemson and Duke 3 times!! Tough to win 3 games against a team.....UNC is the #1 rebounding team in the nation and Roy has a little more experience than Buzz.....The Heels should dominate the glass and get second chance points while keeping Marq to a lot of one and dones as they have only taken 23 3&#x27;s in the last 2 games (hitting 10)....I think they are gonna shoot a lot more outside shots and thats not their game. Of course, if they are 50% they will be fine.....I like UNC by 13  79-66

this was all true in the prior 5 games.  and marquette has similar numbers to washington &amp; clemson in rebounding efficiency.why will it be different this time against a team with the same kind of rebounding numbers?

NC must be prepared to play 40 minutes will full intensity. They have not shown they are willing to do this with any consistency. Marquette is Butler with more athleticism. They play hard for the entire game, not just one eight minute stretch that is usually good enough for talent-laden teams like North Carolina.

NC fans just see wins, people who analyze this for a living see an amazingly talented team that does just enough to win. NC may get away with a half-hearted effort tonight, but Coach Williams must figure out how to get 40 hard minutes out of this extremely talented collection of athletes if he hopes to conquer Ohio St or Kentucky.

&#xD;&#xA;Pretty much nailed this game on the head. Marq shot 2/16 from behind the arc and got outrebounded (numbers a bit deceiving due to 2nd h letdown). I was 5 points off the actual score.&#xD;&#xA;Nice hit with the Heels bro
