me personally I like to play games with lower spreads, yes they are harder to cap, then betting someone -30 there is no capping there, the team laying 30 most likely covers, my reasoning there is, it depends on the team getting 30, if they are a decent team they most likely are not going to get 30...lol but these big teams that lay these big numbers like Georgia last night winning by 60, you have to remember, these big teams have backups that are better than any starter on the smaller school, and they want playing time too...and in these games once a team gets up by 30+ you will have backups get maybe 10 solid minutes of playing time and they want to get all the points they can, and the coach is also able to get a good look at his younger players, they wont let up on the scoring either so I do like betting them but you really have to see how the team is getting the 25+ or 35+
but tonight a game I think will be a good one is Illinois st at Ohio u, Ohio just lost at home to Ark st 89-85, Ohio is a higher scoring team, they like games in the 80's for sure, and Illinois st this year is a really good team, they are picked to win their Conf the Missouri valley, and they too are a higher scoring team and they shoot the 3 really well, these 2 played last year at Ill st and Ill st won 85-75, I kind of favor Ill st -1 or 1.5 but Ohio losing already at home, I know they are going to give this their all tonight, will it be enough, Ill st won their Conf tourney, they return 3 of their top 4 scorers from last year and 65% of their scoring which is the 5th highest returning in the NCAA, 1786 pts from last year,
The Illinois State junior duo of and combined for 1,042 points last season, and as such were the highest scoring sophomore duo in program history, and the second-highest in the NCAA last season. The pair became just the eighth sophomore pair in the NCAA since 2020-21 to each have 500+ points in the same season
and this team does not turn the ball over a lot, last year they had 6 games where they had less than 5 to's in a game..Illinois State's 341 three-point field goals last season was a new Illinois State single-season record, breaking the previous record of 301 set during the 2017-18 season
I like Illinois st in this game, and I like the over in this game also, I think both will go over 80 pts and I am getting over 159.5 -120 its 160.5 -110 and I would not be surprised if this goes up another point or 2
Over 159.5 1 unit
