Textch and Why

It's been a few weeks since I posted in CBB - hope everyone is having a great season.   Houston opened up as a 5.5 pt fav, currently 7.5 (madduxsports.com) .    Both teams have +/- Assists to turnovers, good sign especially on the road.    Houst has a better rank according to Ken pom, Texas Tech has a better sched strength and Hous is better in shooting percentage def.   

Based on the data I collect - I think Tex Tech takes both Fh and game straight up tonight.    

My Plays:

1.   TT  Fh  +191  

2. TT  Gm + 294   

3. Unlv FH  +2    

The Why - I look at the key drivers - opening lines madduxsports.com Kenpom for ranks and schedule strength and Statsharp.com for team data like assists, turnovers, def etc. Compare that with games with similar situations and do what history tells me. There are patterns in the data - if you collect the data and put forth the effort to find them. Process improvement- thus have to update the records everyday.
